  I once thought of writing a program similiar to that, but instead of using a dart board, I was going to use a board with a layout similiar to the game board on the lottery card and the number of squares equal to a line of play would be randomly covered in different patterns until the player found a pattern he liked, hitted a key and added those numbers to a list to play.  I heard so many players say they know what a winning number looks like when they see it and this would give them a chance to pick random numbers by sight. Some players might choose number in a close group while others might prefer a group spread out.  Either way, they would see how they looked on the play card before choosing them.

  I have a data progam that show the layout of a game board for the four games I play, Ohio649P, Buckeye5, Megamillions and Powerball.  It is part of the screen when I enter the drawing results and the card is marked as I enter the data.  I also used it to veiw my play files when copying them to the game cards and many time I have caught a mistake because the card didn't look similar to the the layout on the screen.  I have noticed when reviewing drawing files, there are patterns that are more common than other and those patterns might indicate a certain mix of numbers that may be more likely to win than others.  I had that idea for a long time and I'm sure others have had a similair idea but never shared it.  Good luck to who ever come up with a working program.
