  I don't look at the odds in millions anymore...I just look at how many WRONG NUMBERS (numbers not drawn) there are in each game. This is why I don't (often) waste my lottery budget $$$ on the Pick 3 & 4 games, because there isn't a huge difference in the amount of WRONG NUMBERS between the games.

  Pick 3

  0-9 x 3 = 30 total

  so there are 27 WRONG NUMBERS

  Pick 4

  0-9 x 4 = 40 total

  36 WRONG NUMBERS

  Buckeye 5 5/37

  1-37 = 37 total

  32 WRONG NUMBERS

  SuperLotto Plus 6/49

  1-49 = 49 total

  43 WRONG NUMBERS 

  To date, I have been very successful at picking those WRONG NUMBERS. If I could just do the reverse...

  For Ohio649P, I always play all 49 numbers so I know that I have all 7 CORRECT numbers, it just a matter of getting them in a paying combination.  Tonights number were 04-06-17-23-33-46+49 and again the best I could do is get a free play.  I was off one number for a match4 and $100. The last three draws I have gotten a free play but no money.  I was doing even worst until I started picking numbers that had matched 3 seven times of better.  Last year I matched 5 of 6 for $1500 so I got a monkey on my back and have to play when ever the jackpot goes above $10M.  These are the numbers I played tonight.
