I want  to wheel 20 numbers in the Take Five lottery game of New York.  How many combos (tickets) would this require with the average wheeling system?

    LottoLoser:

If only Lottery New$ was still available. Gail Howard could tell you.

I agree with you that NY Lotto 59 is a LOSING game.

      LottoLoser,

The numbers of lines per wheel depend on the amount of numbers covered, and the guaranteed match.  To cover all numbers for a match 1, you only need 4 lines.  To guarantee a match 2 you would need more lines.  I've seen a 21 numbers wheel with 21 lines with a match 2 if 2 of 21 numbers are drawn and I've seen a 21 numbers wheel with 37 lines with a match 3 if all 5 numbers drawn are among the 21.  To cover all possible combination of 5's for 20 numbers, you would need 15504 lines.  I've used a 22 lines wheel for 37 numbers with a gurantee match 2 if all five numbers are drawn when playing the Buckeye5, and the best I've done is to match 3.

              luckycat,

Just check any good wheeling source.  Someone told me they had an even better wheel, 21 lines, 2 of 5 for 37 numbers.  Good luck to you.
