a FORD lately.....

Yours truly is now a bonafide "shop-rat".

Hard work, but the pay is excellent.  I'll need it when I start building my own home in the spring.

Good Luck, George.  I didn't know they had FORD plant up north.  You building a log cabin home?  My husband dreams of that someday......with about 10 acres he would be in heaven....................but after he retires....which will probably be never...he loves his work.

I am sorry to hear about the computer............I enjoy your Bayesoft website.  Will be looking forward to when you get your new computer.  Don't get snowed in this winter.........I betcha you get a snowmobile....lol

The best car I ever owned was a FORD.  Bought it new, though.  Hope you enjoy your new surroundings.

If you know your number is going to hit, have patience and then KILL IT!

You never know when you will get another hit.

                  George,

I don't know about that underground stuff.........it would give me the willies.  I am claustrophobic...I get an anxiety attack in elevators so I could imagine what living underground would do.  Besides, I like light........we got 100 windows in our home (I counted them to figure out how much it would cost to get them cleaned this spring), and a lot are floor to ceiling windows. Our living room and dining room & foyer are like two levels that is why the floor to ceiling.  So obviously I hate the dark.......lol..........but if it is for you......go for it.....

I am glad you are so happy, George.  I hope you get to your website to update it soon.  I was gonna pay for that service because you are definitely hot in Michigan.

Good luck and have a nice Thanksgiving.

                        Visiondude,

I think the underground house is a great idea for somebody who isn't claustrophobic.  And as far as privacy goes if you are into that, hey it is a good way to go.  I like light and windows; it makes me feel good.  The only blinds I have in my house are in the upstairs bedroom and bathrooms.  My daughter gets really bothered about the bare windows but like I told her "It's not like I strut around naked and I don't do anything illegal so who cares?"  I also live in very safe community.  People leave their doors unlocked here so I guess I have that secure feeling.

I betcha that underground thing would really cut down on energy costs. But there isn't enough Valium in the world to soothe my anxiety when I become enclosed.

Does it have a back door??

Valley Forge Visitor Center looks almost like that picture.
