I still don't understand: What exactly are you supposed to *do* with these sums? What formula comes into play with them?
That's a hard question Millennium. It's sorta like asking someone to write a small book on Sums. There is more than one formula that comes into play with these fellas. It's kinda like trying to describe the advantage of Multiplying over Addition. For right now..... I have to say they are just a very good thing to know and a great tool. Until you start to keep a list and get a little experience with them......it's just to much to write about here.
The only way your going to be able to get into them and see the value is to just begin logging the Sums each day next to each draw.
Have you ever played the game"Battleship"? You know .....where you place your toy ships on sort of a chessboard grid and the other guy trys to guess where you have hidden them (without looking at the board). The other guy calls out the co-ordinates ......like A-7 or F-5 ....and trys to hit your battleship and sink it. Then when your turn comes you do the same. When one of the players sinks all the other guys ships.......they win.
Bottom line is ....the more tools you have.......and the more Vectors or filters you have to guess where the number is that day the better. Sums are just another vector .......and on some days .....it's the only other vector you have to go on. Longitude covers a lot of territory.....without some latitude. LOL
Millennium ......I guess ....the only help I can offer at this point is to say, the Sums are a great tool and a big help in trying to find "That" number on that 1000 number chart.......many times. They are worth a lot more than the little they take to maintain. They are just there most of the time..... until that one day comes along and they scream ... A-7 for you !
I will have to say that you might hear some negative things about Sums .......but that was before the 10 column Sums chart came along. This chart now gives you a pretty even distribution of the numbers and is all the difference in the world. Now they really do work.
The only real failure .....is the failure to try.
Luck is a very rare thing....... Odds not so much.
Odds never change .....but probability does.
