I'm a newbie. Never had a reason to join a lottery forum until Texas joined MegaMillions. I've spent many hours reading the various comments posted here. Let me compliment you on the wealth of knowledge I've come across.
I have to wonder why so many players rely on someone else's number generators. Doesn't anyone get close and personal by logging results on graph paper, creating various charts that allows analysis of results on a position-by-position basis, using their own intuition, etc, to pick numbers?
I hand log all Texas lottery results, except Pick 3, which I don't play. I use what I call alpha-numeric substitution that produces alphabetical sequences, which I use to guide my number selections.
I haven't hit a jackpot, only a few 4/5 hits in Pick5/37.
I have recently completed my logs, charts and tables for MegaMillions. My first prediction, without use of a computer, is that one of the following sequences willcome up tonight: BCCDF, ACDDF or AABCE.
