Someone in this Forum made a comment that a "Higher Power" decides who wins a "Jackpot" if that's the case then a "MAJOR" mistake was made with Mr.Whittaker who since day one of winning has been in the News for doing Negative things.
next time feel free to use my name. i am not afraid of the fallout of what i said.
maybe the problem you have is that God "blesses" people that don't deserve it or will mis-handle it.
you would have to be myopic in life to see that it is funamentally true, even if you are not religious.
go ahead and take a deep breath and then recount in your mind just how many people were given gifts and squandered them away. mr whittaker isn't the first and won't be the last.
perhaps your problem lies in the "selection". why mr whittaker and not someone who seemingly could have made better stewardship choices? that answer is actually pretty easy.
(1) since money is only a tool in life and most certainly not "the" most important thing in life, God is vindicated in his choice. what you can't see is all that "his" choice will ever add up to besides mr whittaker. God "could" be using this tool to turn mr whittaker inside-out. a move that matters more thru eternity than the here and now.
(2) despite mr whittakers perceived bufoonery, other people could be benefiting as well, something "we" are not privy to. you would be surprised to know that God does things with many peripheral things in mind and you have no idea what those might be (and neither do i). it is very a-typical of God to use the foolishness of one man in order to benefit others. he has been pulling that one off since creation.
so if i were you, i wouldn't be so quick to 2nd guess Gods choices. despite your perceived you viewpoint, Gods "vision" is 20/20... (and "God" doesn't make mistakes....we do.)
