Somebody just claimed the grand prize this morning. But the general public has to wait until 11:30 EST today to find out whether it was the woman who said that she lost it or if it was someone else.

Smart lottery winners form trust to claim their winnings. They send an attorney to the lottery headquarters to claim the prize in trust, so that ONLY the name of the trust is revealed. And they tell NO ONE, especially relatives.

If you ever win a lottery and you are single, the only person you should ever marry is someone who was truly in love with you BEFORE you won the jackpot!

People can talk about strategies and gimmicks all they want, but unless your ticket actually matches at least 5 of those 6 balls, you are just another person who tried to win a game yet ultimately failed.

The woman who claimed to have lost the ticket is a LIAR!
The real winner is Rebecca Jameson of South Euclid, Ohio

Maybe not Goldeneye. I say the woman who turned it in will be the true owner of the ticket and the other woman claiming to have lost it, is pulling a scam.

Well even if she did lose it....a lottery ticket is a bearer's instrument....if you happened to come apon a $162 million dollar ticket that you didn't buy all the best to ya you are that much richer. The only way you could prdvent "losing" your ticket is to make sure you sign the ticket right away after you buy it, then the person that cashes it in has to have the same signature that is on the back of that ticket. But since the real winner stepped forward now I wonder what Battle is thinking? Was she mistaken or what?

I read the lawyer had scheduled a press conference to offer a reward to anyone that turn the ticket in to him or his client, but I guess that plan is abandoned and it's on to plan B (act like you don't know the crazy lady).

supposedly the ticket belongs to a woman who once dated pete rose (lol).
i read where the woman who lost the ticket has "proof" that it is/was hers. that the ticket bears the numbers of birthdays and ages of family members. that could be a coinc-a-dink. however her best claim was that she supposedly has a receipt that shows that she bought the ticket at the exact same time as the winning ticket was sold.
it could get ugly.
another lesson in the keep your food hole shut and move as fast as possible.

wait just a darned minut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!that theres my ticket and i can prove it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!the wind blew it from my hands as someone opened the door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and a lady scooped it up and ran down the alley with it shoved down her bra!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats my money and ill have none of you claiming anyone one else owns it but me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ill sue you in lotto county court!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe if the store address was kept secret, Ms Battle(?) would not have said she lost the ticket.

we have enough tech in america to help find the real winner.
maybe mrs. jameson husband found the ticket/maybe she went to her mothers first to decide a plan??? maybe jameson is the scam.?????
