I'm putting the finishing touches on a beta version of the new Lottery Post predictions pages.  I hope to go live - with a beta version - by this evening.

I can't describe how many hours of work has gone into the new pages, other than to say it has been months.  Certainly, it has been a lot longer than I expected.

Originally I was going to design everything after the old Maybell's site, but later discarded the idea because I wanted something that was more robust and could integrate into the site better.  By robust, I mean that it would do things like keep track of every game's drawing dates and times, the number pools, and other things - in order to make sure all predictions are validated and done before the draw.  The pages are also more feature-rich, and provide some instant feedback to your inputs.

I hope you'll like the new pages.  However, as I said above, I'm considering this beta stuff, as not all features are there yet, and I'm sure there's some bugs, misspellings, etc. that I've missed.

I will need everyone's help to iron out all the kinks, so please send me your feedback and any errors you come across.  If there's something you'd like to do or see that isn't there, let me know.

I'll post another message later when the new pages are up...

        Todd:

As you are well aware, all of us at LP are searching for way's to help eachother

Would it be possible to add a chart such as the one I use to track the number's for the PB and MM drawings. (Two different charts.) The charts would look something like this.

We will use the MM number's as an example.

Create a spreadsheet senario with the number's 1 to 52 down the left side of the sheet. Create 1/4 inch or smaller squares down and accross. Each game draw would be colored in. The "white" balls would be "black" the MB would be colored "red." You put the drawing date at the top of each column.

This chart can be used for the PB drawings also.(Different chart though.) It would be a great "tracking tool for all to use to help pick and choose their number's wheather they "wheel " their number's or just want to look at the chart and pick some number.s randomly. The chart will help folk's see where the "Bell-Curve" is heading and make it easier to choose what number's might be the best choices for that particular drawing.

I really think this would be a "great" tool for all.

        Thank's for your help,

        Chief

May the warm winds of heaven blow softly upon your house. May  the Great Spirit bless all who enter there. May your mocassins make happy tracks in many snows. And may the rainbow always touch your shoulder.

Thanks all for the encouragement!  It really means a lot!

Look for the changes sometime later this evening - probably 9:00 or 10:00 tonight.  I don't want to put everything in place this minute because I can't babysit the site right now (to make sure it goes OK).

BobP, if I could write a program to figure out which picks were worth playing, I definitely would have done so!  Unfortunately, I don't think anyone has cornered the market on that.  Hopefully you will be able to use the new pages as another tool in your arsenal for picking the right numbers.
