Im new to playing Daily Pick 3, I dont understand how you win on the box win I understand match any order (3 unique digits) but what does it mean match any order (2 Identical & 1 Unique) Does that mean if I picked 2 correct numbers I win?
It sounds as thou you are referring to the Pick-3 with doubles in it such as
636 where two of the three digits are the same. This can also be viewed as a three way number or three (3) different combinations; 3-6-6, 6-3-6 and 6-6-3, when playing this number it's best to WHEEL or do a combination bet as oppose to a BOXed bet. Say you do a fifty cents combo, then you will hit the number straight no matter which combination of the number comes out.
Some States also let you bet 'PAIRS' in which you bet the first two, last two or split pair positions; 3-6-X, 6-3-X, X-3-6, X-6-3, 3-X-6, 6-X-3, 6-6-X, X-6-6.
This number was one of the picks on my list [Pick-3 for DUMMIES List No 07] which fell Sunday, February 15, 2004 in the State of New York.
