I play the Pick 3 (10 or 20 bucks a day) and I only win boxed about once a month. So I'm losing way more than I'm winning! Why is this happening? There must be something wrong.

I know I could win WAY more often if those rotten Doubles wouldn't keep popping up! Everytime I think a double is gonna pop up....sure enough, singles come up! Then when I play singles, a double comes up! I just can't win! It's like the lottery knows what numbers I played and screws it up for me just to make sure I lose again!

I'm really getting close to giving up in disgust! I thought I could win on a fairly regular basis, I don't expect to win everyday, but I think I should be able to win at least once a week shouldn't I???? I'm not trying to win Straight...just boxed!

How do I pick my numbers now? I usually choose my combos based on Odds/Even digits. In other words, If the last 2 daily pick 3 numbers that were drawn contain 2 even digits and 1 odd digit...Then for the next draw I will play the opposite (which would be 2 odd digits and 1 even digit) And sometimes I will get 1 digit correct , but nothing else.

I even try Boxing systems where I boxed 6 or 7 different digits and I still Lose! How is this possible? How can I be wrong so often? What am I doing wrong? Can somebody please give me some advise? What about all these Lottery Systems...do they really work like they are supposed to?

Dont feel bad Joy, I have been spending 25-50 a day on pic 4 combos in Indiana, and in 6 years have only hit straight one time. What is that 500 combo numbers a day. There isnt but 10,000. I have given up about 70000 in 6 years for nothing. I dont get it either. I can hit on my numbers in every state but mine. Like last night I would have hit back to back in New York. I just dont get it. Good Luck

The lotteries are using vtracs...you have to have a system better than an even/odd system..just doesn't work..even using the box is better than nothing..Try using the 10 column sums..that may even help you. I use about 5 different things....

If you know your number is going to hit, have patience and then KILL IT!

You never know when you will get another hit.

sometimes pay attn. to the post of WIND, chouq, gilla and myself if you play for ga. also beverly some good #'s are posted, but you have to study hard and kind of have a system of your own to know what has not been out in awhile. Start looking at the post of not alots of #'s . Do you have dream books? I have not had a hit since oct. and last night I got the # from a dream that I had. Do not switch your #'s everyday, try sticking with the same #'s for the month. This is where I make my mistake, could hit more often. Not leaving anyone out on your posting, but some post are right on the money. Your luck will change soon!!!!! Just study.

Check out the Systems Forum and look for the one called "The most important things to know in Pick-3." That's a good start. You don't have to play everyday and spend a lot. Learn to watch.... and wait.

The only real failure .....is the failure to try.

Ouch! The amount of money being spent is incredible.

If I do $5 in one day (split between Midday *and* Eveving), I feel bad.

I can't imagine putting out the amount of money per day mentioned here. That's just waaaay too much.

And I know the feeling about the Pick 3 "knowing" what you intend to do. Sit back and laugh over it or it'll rip you to shreds.

And play far *less* $$$, for crying out loud!

I don't even like generating more than 10 picks to play on paper!
I am still learning, so I am glad to take the trade off for now... saving real money on the drawings while watching a straight or 2 come up on paper and not having played it...

I agree with u I only won $40.00 in all the years. play on paper to test any system, and even tho I HAVE DONE THAT when play with green bucks LOOOSS.
I like u are from OHIO and it seems like the most winners come fro GA. so mabe its not us its the state. a lot lp members like the sum method, however after tracking, and then playing, for 30 days never won. gave that sys up. mayber someday we will find a way, but alot has been hashed over already, same stuff. good luck.

Ouch! That is very bad.

I had an alarm set in my PDA to tell me to play 079 in the midday. But I set it for the wrong time (never set alarms when you're tired!). It went off at 3:30PM today -- to remind me to play 079. 790 was the afternoon Pick 3 result!

$40 gone...

And I missed 102 in a similar fashion just the other day.

If you don't know how to win then you are not ready to play.
I am learning as much as I can, I am not ready to play and spend any money at all untill I am finished learning everything that I can or at least enough to start winning a lot more than I would spend on tickets.
When you think that you are ready, then you play on paper long enough to make sure that you will win, then once you are sure, then you can start to play with real money, and not before that, if you don't play to win, then just pay on paper and pretend that you are playing for real, it's better, it will keep you busy but you get to keep your money.
Learn the game, everything about it and good, then buy tickets and make some money, contrary to what most people believe, using just one system and or lottery program is not enough, learn about everything that works and combine everything into one system, one thing complements the other things use all that really works.

But only those things that really work, not bogus trash
