i have a registry of FL cash3 results, and i see that the number 1 in any possition have a delay of 70 evets, i think that is possible the number says "hello" today or in next two days, the strategic to win may be play all the numbers that have a 1, in first, second or 3 position..

That 1 has now been out for 25 draws.

Does anyone have any idea when it would be worth it to play all combinations that contain a 1? I believe it's somewhere around 220 combinations

I see in August 23 of 2002 in Florida Cash3 a similar situation, the number 1 cold for 78 dvents (or 27 days), in these days the numbers 6 was cold too for 57 days. Today we have a 1 without draw for (78 dvents) or 27 days and the number 3 cold for 52 days in mid position.... i have a registry of cash along years and i can not found a situation where the 1 was not draw for more than 27 days, we have for today a new record!!

wiltafur, Thank you very much for that record information. I wish we could help you trap the one digit. Without other information on Florida Pick 3 it would be hard to give any real help.
There are 36 combinations of the digit one that can be made from all the 6 way numbers. There are 20 more combinations of 3 way doubles with the digit 1. Total...... 56 combinations.
I guess the cheapest bet would be to cover all the doubles with a digit one in it for either 20 bucks or 10 dollars of .5o cents bets.....and pray when it hits it comes as a double. Double pays $80.00 so that is 70.00 profit or play all 20 dollars as 2 boxes each and win 16o.oo ....or $140 as profit.
Many times a missing digit will return as a double.....or ....it will return with one of the digits it left with.
Without tracking Fla. on a regular basis it's hard to see any more options. Playing at the top of the records for your state you know that it is" A lot closer than not" ...that's for sure. Good Luck to you. Let us know how you won!

Not 300, but 271 numbers.
There are 300 "1"'s in the 1000 combinations, but there are only 271 numbers that contain at least a "1".
Singles:
The "1" in position 1 only = 1 * 9 * 9 = 81
The "1" in position 2 only = 9 * 1 * 9 = 81
The "1" in position 3 only = 9 * 9 * 1 = 81
243 numbers with only one "1"
Doubles
The "1" in position 1 and 2 = 1 * 1 * 9 = 9
The "1" in position 1 and 3 = 1 * 9 * 1 = 9
The "1" in position 2 and 3 = 9 * 1 * 1 = 9
27 numbers with two "1"'s
Triples
The "1' in position 1, 2 and 3 = 1 * 1 * 1 = 1
1 number with three "1"'s
243 + 27 + 1 = 271 numbers with at least one "1"

While I was writing the previous answer I missed your additional information.

There are actually only additional 18 combinations possible. The two "1"'s with all the other 9 digits and one "1" with all the other 9 doubles. In addition there is one triple one. Adding the singles (36), doubles (18) and triples (1) up, there are 55 combinations.

Thanks Mike. Love your good old "German precision." Lazy American answers will always get you in trouble and might cost you a few bucks more than you should have to play.
I don't normally don't think in terms of betting hundreds of dollars on one game, and round off in my head... if and when I do. These are normally the quick answers you might give a guy in the 7-11 store on the way home from work. LOL
If someone said to me , "If I know the digit one is coming tonight, how many choices do I have?" The short answer on the way out the door would be .....#300 choices. That would be correct. If I ask if he knew the position was the 3rd. 2nd or 1st only. I would tell him to be safe he must indeed play a hundred dollars per position depending on what one specific position he thought was likely .....playing one position at a time. I really have had that question more than once.
I have never been asked about all positions at the same time. At that time of day I would probably need a pencil to tell him he could play all #300 for 135.50 for a win of $250.00 or 40.00 or nothing, or cover 271 straights or str/boxes with no overlaps for $ 271.00 and win either 5oo.oo or $40.00 or nothing.
If I had time and not late for supper, I would stop and suggest he only play the 36 combinations of the 6 way numbers only. Those 36 would cover all the 216 of those combo's. With a 100% guarantee of a win...... If doubles were not expected. That would be a more realistic play. He would have 16% chance of hitting it straight. This is my best and normal advice, and I usually keep copies of the simple "If you know one number chart" in my car for people to have.
If he thought the digit would appear as a double.... then I would say great! That's because he would have a 100% better chance of hitting it straight than as a normal 6 way number. Play all 18 doubles for .50 cents or $9 dollars total and the triple too be safe for 9.50 total or ....Play all 54 of the doubles for a dollar and to be safe................. add the triple and it's 54+1=55 dollars...... Not 54 +1 = 56 LOL The extra buck is for me. (kidding)
P.S. Using the 36 chart is a good commercial for tracking the last position order on these and arrange your numbers according.....to age. Sorry Mike ...couldn't resist. LOL

300 choices is not correct. Maybe you should show me a list of the 300 choices the person has. When there are only 271 number that have ones in them where do you get teh other 29 from?

The short answer would still be 300 for time's sake. The important part is you can cover all 300 times the digit one appears with only $271.00. The point is made and without the need to stop and scare up a 1000 number chart to look at then or now.....and spending the rest of the evening pointing to and discussing the overlaps. The fact the person is covered on 100% of all combinations and knows the exact cost of such a venture is done. They can go and find a thousand number chart later and study and learn the overlaps on their own. I would normally try to soften this last point with an LOL.... so as not to sound so terse, instructive, or Germanic in tone. LOL (joke) You may laugh once only.............now!
P.S. Perhaps I should have said ..you can cover all of the 300 digit ones for 271.00 dollars with no overlaps. Thinking only of myself...I guess I feared someone would say, "what overlaps" and then i would have to go and dig them out. (embarrassed smile)

That is all fine. I obviously did not understand you right. I thought you that there are 300 Numbers that contain a "1" out of the 1000 possible combinations, when you said the person has #300 choices. Apparently that was not what you meant; you meant there are 300 "1" digits within all of the 1000 numbers.
But I have to admit that I have no clue what you mean by overlaps. But I will not ask the dreaded question.
