On the surface it may look like a good idea to play a wheel which captures all numbers. I disagree. It's too thin and stretched out.
The ultimate goal of playing the lottery is to win that top prize, the jackpot, but don't over look the lower tier prizes. They are important, very important.
A wheel which traps half the games numbers is perfect at hitting those lower tier prizes. Which is better, playing ten bucks and getting nothing back, or hitting those small prizes and at least getting your money back? I say your a winner if you get your money back, and the possibly is always there to hit the jackpot.
Case in point:
For the past couple of weeks I've been playing a wheel in the Pa cash 5 game which captures twenty of the games thirty-nine numbers and cost eleven bucks. The results have been favorable. I want to chart this a few more weeks and will post a thread with results and comments. I'll share some of the past couple of weeks results here and now.
* March 30 captured 4/5 numbers in 20# wheel
prizes-2/5- one ticket $1.00 3/5 one ticket $10.50
* March 31 captured 4/5 numbers in 20# wheel
prizes-2/5- four tickets $1.00 each $4.00 total 3/5 one ticket $9.00
* April 1 captured 3/5 numbers in 20# wheel
prizes- 2/5 two tickets $1.00 each $2.00 total 3/5 one ticket $11.00
* april 4 captured 4/5 numbers in 20# wheel
prizes- 2/5 one ticket $1.00 3/5 one ticket $9.00
* April 6 captured 3/5 numbers in 20# wheel
prizes-2/5 one ticket $1.00
Five days- $11.00 played each day. $55.00 total
Lower tier prizes won $48.50 total
I don't play every day and yes there are days you don't win any thing.
Good luck, play responsibly and have fun, Chas
