  I heard of some program (dont remember where) wherein there are a set of eight numbers you play for pick 3 (the $1 tickets (box & straight)) . The idea is that of these 8 sets of numbers at least one will have two of the winning numbers in it, giving you a win. This doesnt work for doubles though like 909 but is supposed to for all others.
