I personally think, if you are tracking that information, you should actually change these setting. After all I provide them for that purpose. For me not following the other States so closely, that would be difficult to decide, so I keep the default filter settings, at least for single numbers. When I play in Washington State I actually do change the settings.
The default settings (singles) consist of 82 numbers (singles, high/low, even/odd) from 015 to 489 that are evaluated and ranked. These 82 numbers (Straight 82 * 6 =. 492) represent 49.2% of all numbers, or half. That is a good start of reduction.
