I didn't know what topic to post this under so you all would get it.
I just wanted to thank all you excel users who have helped in the past year with any questions I had. All I had to do was ask, and you all came to the rescue.
Hypersoniq with the v-trac spread sheet..........that is an awesome spreadsheet and I like it so much. Thank you.
And to all of you who helped me with the formula for changing a sum into a root sum, thank you.
I just thought I'd stop in and give some thanks were I think needed it. Many of you people don't get thanked enough..................
So, one big thank you!

I too would like to thank everyone here who replies to questions...
MikeK for one has been of great help showing me easier formulas to accomplish several things I had worked out with excel... Thanks also to ERAE who helped me figure out how to use excel to check for boxed hits on the pick3/4...
System theory is usually a guarded secret (or would appear to be on most sites), many thanks to everyone who sheds some insights into the games, thanks to WinD, winsumloosesum, clipper, BobP, JAP69, kbcherokee, millennium, cash34ologist, and to the scores of others...
and of course, thanks Todd for the great forum...

I was working on my v-trac charts last night, Hyper, and I thought to myself, I would never be able to do this chart without you...........I have a husband who has a master's degree in computer science.........lol........but he never kept up with it.........visual basic ......he knows.........but all the new stuff, he has to sit for hours (he does get it, but it takes him awhile). He has people who work for him to do all the programming and stuff. He works lots and doesn't have the time to sit down for that long. I have a tough time explaining what I want to him. He doesn't understand that sometimes in the lottery world....a sum of 12 is a sum of 2...lol.........He did do my conversion from sum to root sum for me..........but then I printed out you guys formula and he said it was better........just to have you guys do it..............lol
Anyway, thanks all, everyone who contributes to the betterment of this forum. It is so nice when it is automated. You can just crank out those spreadsheets.

I will say thank you also to all the folk's here at LP that have done so much to make this the #1 Lottery Site, ever... And Todd for getting the idea to start it all. It just keep's getting better all the time.

Maybe we should have another option under "FORUMS" linking to excel ideas since alot of us seem to use this. There we can list all the great formulas etc.

hi posters. Could someone give us a spreadsheet(excel) that we can input the last 18 days results and have it come up with the longest days out numbers in each position and recommend the best combos to play for that day. There are so many accomplished people here that i know it can be done. Can a spreadsheet be done for both the 3 and 4 daily it would be great. Thanks to all here.

You may have positional digits that are out longer than 18 draws. I use an Excel spreadsheet that incorporates Win D's idea of using a Root Sum chart and breaking it into 4 blocks of numbers. Each block or Quad consits of 55 combinations. Each quad has 5 rows of 11 numbers. This chart is experimental right now but seems very interesting. Each quad is labled A - B - C - D. Each individual quad has 5 individual sets of combinations of 11 combinations each. Since there are only 4 possible Quads I am looking at repeat and longest out Quads along with the longest out row of 11 combinations. For example PA Midday for March 14 was 9 - 4 - 5. This was a repeat Quad but a longest out set of 11 numbers which consisted of 233 279 288 369 378 459 468 477 558 567 666. If you just like playing "No-Match combinations" you could have played 279 369 378 459 468 567.

could you share this spreadsheet with us to experiment with in our states along with a tutorial on how to enter and use the numbers. We can report back to the forum on results. Could be interesting. Also maybe someone has an idea on how to improve on it. Thanks
