Does anybody really win more money than they are spending to play the lottery on a regular basis? Are there any of you who actually play the lottery for a living (as your main source of income)?   Whether you play Pick 3,4,5,6... Do you play at a profit? How often do you win? And how many combos do you play each day?

I was spending about $35 a week playing 2by2 and only getting about $3 sometimes but mostly free tickets and that was maybe only 2 or 3 free tickets which is $2 and $3 so I don't think I will be playing the lottery 4  a living

Hello joy..... I win a lot of times but not enough to make a living off of it...but in the future i do intend to do just that. I play the 5 numbers game including the megagame as it has 5 numbers also. 5 numbers will still get you 175,000 dollars without the megaball. with the megaball it is in the millions. There is a way of increasing the chances of winning...and all you need is past winning numbers and a record of it in the form of a graph or chart so that you can VISUALLY SEE the way numbers are running.... then using your good common senses, you try to pick the numbers that you think will come in....and if you can figure out how to use THE WHEEL in it's various forms it can only help in lining up the  winning combination for the next days game.. Welcome on board and good fortune to you..........my name is st.germain and i am from chicago!!!!!!!!!!!

Unless you win the jackpots, you'll never win more than you spend.

Nope cant say that I make more than I spend, but like RJOH says it only takes one time to reverse that statement!

I disagree. In the last year I have had wins of $625, $1150, $1125, and $1100. All were second tier prizes. These only include the wins that I had to redeem at lottery HQ. This doesn't include the wins of less than $600 that don't have to be redeemed at lottery HQ. I have spent a little over $2000 getting those wins so I am making a profit. I would have made another $500 when I won the $625 but I filled out my playslip wrong so I only had 4/6 instead of 5/6 in one set of numbers. Grrrrrrrr. Good luck all.

I have good years and bad years some years i get good hits but shove it back in the games. many lottery players spend twice as much trying to hit again as they won. Smart lottery players back off when they win and only play when the urge hits them. Big lottery winners somtimes go to a casinos and toss it all away.

in order to gamble for a living you have to have a lot of money to start with. your not going to win big playing with quarters. Winning the big money lottery is a once in a lifetime deal. Winning the lottery two or more times means you have a horseshoe hanging around your neck. Your doing good if you win the money back you spent.

I like to play cash 3 and play for FUN. I probably break even last year's winnings were around $4000.00 I play midday and evenings average  about $10.00 per day sometimes more. I do not use as a source of income.
