  I'm not a pick 4 player but for those who are you may find the following interesting:

  In the Pennsylvania Lottery Big 4 game the number 1 6 9 8 was drawn twice straight in eight days.

  Mid day drawing March 25, 2004. Payout 410 winners for a total of $101,000.00

  Evening drawing March 18, 2004. Payout 1,456 winners for a total $236,800.00

  Last time 1 6 9 8 was drawn straight 10/18/2000, and 9/5/1992

  The numbers 0, 1, 8, 9 are the four numbers that are drawn the most often.  They have the BEST chance of coming out!  So, a number 189X stands a better than average chance of hitting in a "boxed" combination.

  If your state has it, a front or back pair that consists of 2 of those numbers has a very likely chance of "hitting"; as often a 2 or 3 times a week!  My favorites are 89XX & 18XX.

  The next number most likely to be drawn is "5".

  All the others have the same lower odds of being drawn.
