  Though I am now in my 50's, admitedly, I am very new to the whole lottery scene. I joined this site primarily because, after checking out seveal other sites that purport to give factual information regarding online play, this site seemed most reliable.

  I have been playing Powerball and Mega Millions for a few months with a few very modest successes.

  My question now is this- Is there some way to reliably/safely purchase pick 3 or pick 4 tickets in any one or more of the states without having to physically go to a lotto seller in person?

  I can think of reasons why the answer to this question is "no", but there is much that I don't know about this kind of gaming, so I thought I would ask others who play "pick 3" regularily.

  The only one I know of that is reliable is carribsports.com (spelling?).  The Bahamian players there can play IL and FL and it's on on-line thing.  The payouts are higher too.

  I don't know what states you play in...it might be a good idea to post this question in the general discussion or pick-3 forums because I know there are more out there, and maybe someone there can help you more.

  Good luck in your quest....also you might want to ask Laverne Maloney who posts on the Pick-3 board...she was investigating the same thing recently and might have some answers for you.
