Do you find yourself discounting the value of free systems because they are free?

Allowing some free systems might be better then the worst ones people are selling, does having paid for a system affect your decision to keep using it even if it is losing?

Are you quicker to abandon a free system if it doesn't hit right away?

Does a free system become "worth more" in your eyes when the author starts charging for it?

I think free systems are outstanding and come from giving people who want to help thier fellow man succeed. Not much better gift can be given to someone than a tool they can use to help themselves if they choose to do so.

Winning and losing seem to go in cycles so when you're losing no matter the system you're using it may be time to take a break, or just do pen and paper trials until you see your winning cycle coming back.

I'd like to try one of the free systems if I knew which one was the best to try. I personally don't like to download stuff from people I don't know or trust. For all you know they could be sending a patch to read your entire PC's contents. Even though my motto is if it's for free it's for me.

I definitely believe you should pay for the use of someones intellectual property. The question to me really is should it be one big amount or a small regular amount say every year as long as you keep using it. The dilemma for me is that I prefer the former in my own purchases but if I was selling something I would prefer the latter.

I have paid for two systems. One is basically an analysis tool but does pick numbers which hit. The second I call my straight picker which does well.
I watched the pick results from each over time before deciding to play their selections rather than start playing the picks from day one of purchase.
My own chart selecting does well also so I use the experience from the many years of chart picking for reference on the boughten ones.

Numbers are where you find them.

I suspect the definition of a lottery system is whatever you do that ends with a lottery ticket in your hand at the completion of the process. I've heard people say their " . . . system is buying a Quick Pick."

I'd say a lottery system is instruction (hopefully step by step) in how to convert lottery information into playable tickets, ideally tickets with a winner among them. Or in the case of software an automated process to achieve the same result.

Tom: I don't know of any sites that collect free lottery systems. Some of the lottery information sites give a few away. While these can get players excited if the occasional win lands at the moment they first try the system, for the most part these systems don't play at a profit over the long term, I know I've never seen one, but I'd like to.

As for "connecting numbers" never heard of the term, could mean neighboring or pairs, or a number between two previous winners from the prior draw (last draw 5 and 7 come in, is 6 now a good bet?) or something altogether different, be fun to find out. BobP

No, Tickets are already enough of an expense... Free systems are the only way to go.

Never bought one, never will.

I usually start by backtesting, if it can't pass that, then I haven't wasted any $$$ on tickets from it...

For me it would become worthless...
