I got four numbers right on the Powerball this Saturday, but they were in the wrong position.

My numbers were:

15 - 28 - 13 - 07 - 02  PB 22

The winning numbers were:

02- 44 - 35 - 1322  PB  28

Getting better-

That 2 and 15 you have a strong possibility of being the PB # on Wednesday 4-28-04.  I show 2, 15, 9, 23, or 35 as the PB this week and I really like that 2!!!

    Good Luck.

Hmm, that sounds good.  Pretty interesting.  What's your strategy, if you don't mind me asking?  I see you're in Charlotte, I assume you go to the S.C. line to play.

This is true.  I primarily do research on the past and have found that "What once has happened, will be again."

Just take a good look at the past winning numbers with 13 as the fourth white ball to come up.  Don't use the order that's printed in the paper, go to the website and check them according to the way they came up by the actual drawing.

          NBey6,

I see what you mean.  That really messes with your mind and your head.  I've never really looked at it that way before.  That might be the way to go.  Thanks for that tip.  I've been working up and down in the columns of past draws (drawn order).  Sometimes I have to get up and do something else because I get so excited.  I haven't won much at all, but I plan to win big someday.  Keep me posted on how you do and I'll do the same.  Good luck to ya.

NBey6, did you play PB yesterday?  If so, how'd it go?  I played my same numbers over from last Saturday and didn't hit anything.  After reading your post I've come up with a new strategy, which I love.  Following is my prediction for last night (that I didn't play, of course):

            52-42-53-29-34  PB 30

            Winning numbers were:

            27-34-52-49-42  PB 28

I'm definitely playing Saturday and will keep you posted.  Thanks for the tip.

As fate would have it, I played every PB number I predicted, except the 23.

              Back to the drawing board.

OpenMinded - You and I should have collaborated as we would have gotten $200, w/Power Play of course, with your predicted numbers and my predicted PB numbers.

Good luck, peace and abundant blessings.

NBey6 -  that might be a good idea.  I'm game if you are.  There is plenty money to share.  I think the pot is up to 145 million.  Half for you and half for me.

I use a 5 line system and it works quite well.

                    1-2-3-4-5-6

                    1-2-3-4-7-6

                    1-2-3-4-8-6

                    1-2-3-4-9-6

                    1-2-3-4-10-6

I keep all numbers the same except the 5th ball. Even the power ball is the same. That keeps me from having numbers in different line. So if my numbers come exact I'll have more than one prize.

Example when power ball number was 28, I had it five times plus 2 of the other numbers. This is just a system I use because I have all 6 numbers but in different lines, and that makes one hot.

                    I hope this helps you.

Numbersman -  your system reminded me of something that I read from minutes taking from a Texas Lottery Commission meeting on the PowerBall game.  They were discussing the powerplay.  I'm a true believer that the powerplay is the secret to the PowerBall game.  I make sure to include it on my spreadsheets of previously played numbers.  What they were discussing was that the powerplay went up to five.  The speaker stated that the powerplay "goes up to five, two, three, four, five."  I read that portion over and over again, wondering if maybe the transcriber mispunctuated.  It just didn't seem possible to me that he/she could have.  Seems that it would have read more like the powerplay goes up to five, or the powerplays are two, three four and five.  This may not be anything of importance whatsoever, but I'm taking it as a tip and running with it.  I try to keep this in mind when I do all my backtesting.

Thanks for sharing your ideas with me and I'll be sure to try it out.

I have yet to update my PB sheets, I will do that tomorrow night... But I have the data both ways in Excel, side-by-side (sorted vs. draw order)... I use conditional formatting to highlight the drawn numbers one at a time in both the draw and sort list to get an idea of "trends" that follow based on draw order position (and sort order)... still no gold but it shows some interesting trends you would miss if just going on sorted order...
