This is something I noticed about the PA lottery from working the machine. There is a lot of stuff they do to get sales, but there is also some stuff they should do thsat other states do. Anyway, enjoy and CASHOnly: Choice number 3 would have a cash option. Don't worry.

I've redone my website. Go to www.dr-ew.com. I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff. Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

yes, but what I meant by choice number 3 was an in-state game. sorry if i didn't clear that up.

The only good thing about Match 6 is it's a cash game.
Let me get something straight, is cash only saying the reason he likes Hot Lotto is because it's a annunity only game?

hot lotto isn't an annuity only game. i think CASHOnly just likes the game.

What I would press for If I was a PA lottery official:
1. Stop the Daytime Drawing, if you play one number each month you have to play twice as much and you loose even more.
2. Just as they have instant ticket machines, they should also have machines that you can play the daily, Big 4, Cash Five, Pick 6 and Powerball. So many times you have to deal with inept clerks that have no clue as to how to run the lottery machines, so many long lines, why not have machines that the general public can play their own lottery games!!

The lottery machines you describe are coming. I remember reading a news article that their testing machines somewhere in Texas. If they catch on in one state, I'm sure other states will purchase them.

CASH is speaking most likely from the non-dventful experience of writing to the PA lottery commission and asking them for Hot Lotto... I did the same thing and to date have not had a response... they HAVE answered other questions I had ,but continue to ignore that one...
I think P.A. players would go for Hot Lotto... to the detriment of that Match 6 that allegedly came from player requests...
match6 is not a huge money game, it would be better to spend $1 on cash5 than 2 on M6... If everyone did the following...
A. STOP playing match 6
B. Write to the P.A. lottery commission (use the "contact us" link at http://www.palottery.com ) and TELL them you aren't playing anymore and want Hot Lotto...

I don't get the resistance, we are already an MUSL state...

the state has to adopt the game rules before it can start to offer the game. there's a ton of legislation that has to happen before the lottery offers a game.

Why replace one game, Match 6, with another that just does'nt fit, Hot Lotto? In another thread you agreed that a state the size of Pennsylvania deserves better. Pots that start at $500,000-$1,000,000 and after god knows how many, rolls to two or three million dollars isn't for Pennsylvania. Texas, New York, Florida and other large states have games with the potential to rollover in the 40-60 million dollar range. Why not Pa? Pennsylvania is missing the boat, and just think of all the lost revenue, while the state runs this mickey mouse game called Match 6? Until this state gets a decent lotto game my wallet is closed. I stopped playing Match 6 and would not consider playing Hot Lotto.

What about a "new" Hot Lotto, say, 5/43+1/19 with bigger jackpot potential than the current HL?
