  Alright.  Since there are rumors that Mass. will introduce a new game, what type of game do you think Mass,  will start to offer?

  I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

  I "voted" for 6/49 with a bigger matrix, since Mass has said the new game will have a higher jackpot potential.

  The "Win for Life"/"Lotzee"-style game is not very popular.

  from today's Boston Herald:

  >The new jackpot game, dubbed ``Cash WinFall,'' is set to debut in September. Players choose six numbers with each $2 bet. Matching all six wins the jackpot, which starts at $500,000 and grows until somebody wins or it reaches $2 million. Any loot over that goes to increase the winnings of those who match fewer than six numbers.

  I don't like the $2 bet part. If it was $1 like the usual game I would like it.  It also doesn't say how many numbers the 6 are chosen from, or if this is replacing Mass Millions or Megabucks.

  6/49 will be retired. No mention of retiring 6/42.

  There you go. And someone just gave me a 25 drawing season ticket for Mass Millions that expires in September for my birthday. May I win the last ever drawing.

  Increased odds of winning, but then again you are spending $2 a ticket instead of $1, so it's hard to say what "increased odds" means when they've doubled the price of a ticket.

  You don't want to hit the 6/49 unless they change the rules!

  BTW, it appears the new game will combine PA Match 6 with

  Michigan WinFall.

  Today's MM jackpot is $4,192,324.  That would be $209,616 a year for 20 years. I could take that. It's a lot better than winning zero dollars. Look at the bright side - one more cash option only game is biting the dust.

  You better get use to the $2.00 per ticket price. Mark my words within  a year or two all online lottery games will double in price.
