  Well, well, well!  It has been reported that a majority of people divorce over money issues (and I will assume it is the lack of not having enough money).  If this is true, if a couple wins the lottery, there would be no divorce, right?

  Now, how about lottery winners not willing to share their winnings with their spouse: 'take the money and run syndrome!' Since I am single, with no husband, and no children -- I will not have that problem.  Pity those cases we hear about when the husband or wife decides to abandon the marriager for  a. freedom, b. a younger woman or a younger man, c. to be alone, or d. because the devil jumped in him or her.

  Question: if you win the lottery, will you leave your significant other (you do not have to be married)?  If yes, explain; if no, explain.

  You can run as fast as you can from your spouse, but if you were not legally separated, you still have to split that prize.

  If the other is not worth being married to, then they aren't very significant,  just a close acquaintances.  If you win a lottery and is still single then you are free to make your own decisions.

  If I win the lottery I am going to spend the maximum amount of time with my wife and children.

  Why would you wait to leave your husband or wife? If you're thinking about that, you should leave now. What does money have to do with it?

  here's how you know the marraige is about love and not money.  the woman signs a pre-nup.
