What a sigh of relief: the poor $10 million lottery winners will always be among us!

Fret not, post readers, the lottery officials do not want our pictures (of course, there are some state exceptions).  Ideally, newspaper editorials, television broadcasters, and the gossiping neighbors next door are only interested in the larger jackpot winners -- sensationalism.  Why?  We are considered the lottery poor and that's fine by me.

Now, when we win, we can come out of our holes and breathe a little easier!

The circle of coverage shrinks or expands depending on the size of the win, but the press release goes out all the same. BobP

In that case, I hope I win the $20 million Mega Millions jackpot Tuesday.

I'll take 10 million. Heck, I would take 1 million. Something. The most I ever win is $2 and that goes towards more tickets.

The most I've ever won off a single ticket was $10 from a Match 2 + MB Mega Millions ticket.
