Why do most people hound lottery winners? So, are the following people immune from the bloodsuckers: Oprah; Donald Trump; Warren Buffet; Jim Carey; The Rockefeller dynasty -- third and fourth generations; all the Hollywood superstars, including rap-artists; sports figures; and other assorted rich folks.
Now, if Oprah did a show on the lottery pitfalls -- winners and losers -- maybe she should have offered some positive feedback, e.g., how she now manages to keep her money, avoiding all the sad-sack stories.
Note to women: if you know or will know a lottery winner, and your man left you (separation or divorce) and you have kids, don't ask a lottery winner to be your savior. Find that man, make him support his kids, and move on with your life. It is not the lottery's winner responsibility (unless he is the father) to make your life easier. Gee, you should have thought about that before lying in the bed with him!
To the men: get a life, too. If you meet a lottery winner, move on. Believe me, most sane, normal women are looking for men who have arrived (lottery winners, hard working successful businessmen, beneficiaries of wealth, or others) -- not men who are not on the same $$$ financial wavelength. I know I wouldn't. Why? Men are passing me up, now and I don't have a damn thing (no, I'm not poor, but compared to a $145 million dollar winner, I am poor), so....why would I want to be used! If I win, my saying will be: "you didn't want me when I had nothing...I'm looking for a man who has something!
