I have set the filters for an ODD sum.  We just had an EVEN sum, but I expect it to switch back to ODD.  Here is my chart for the switches for California:

 O E 1=52 1=55 2=29 2=21 3=14 3=13 4=8 4=12 5=1 5=1 6=4 6=3 7=1

This indicates that after an EVEN sum, the sum switches right back to an ODD sum 55 times.  It is EVEN twice before switching back to ODD 21 times, etc.  So, as a filter, it is not unreasonable to try for an ODD sum this time!

I would also look in the numbers for what I call "system" numbers.  The "system" numbers are numbers that have as their lowest digit 0-2, and the highest digit 7-9.  The middle digit is 1-8 and not pure ODD or pure EVEN.  Here is a chart that I started not too long ago so the numbers are small, but the other chart had numbers that were getting too big!

 #1 #2 #3 0=46 1=34 1=15 2=18 2=13 2=1 3=17 3=27 3=6 4=19 4=20 4=8 5=9 5=27 5=17 6=7 6=21 6=20 7=15 7=22 8=5 8=30 9=48

I know that 4 as the lowest number is higher than the 2!!  But over time the numbers in green will dominate.  This is no big secret, just a fact with 3-digit numbers.  But a "system" number has skipped hitting 3 times now.  Here is the chart for the skips between "system" numbers:

 System 0= 64 64 0.28 1= 39 103 0.45 2= 34 137 0.60 3= 36 173 0.76 4= 18 191 0.84 5= 12 203 0.89 >5= 25 228 1.00

If a system number hits this time, then the 3 will be increased to equal 37.  If it misses, then it is out of the zone and I would wait until another system number hits before playing them again.  Remember, this excludes pure ODD numbers and pure EVEN numbers even though they meet the other rules!

Draw = 949 an EVEN sum (22), so I had the filters wrong this time.
