Australia's lotteries, which, like US lotteries, are run by state governments. However, all winning are totally tax free. So, Australia is the real land of the free. And winners can also remain anonymous.

Sounds great, but i would rather know someone over there who could play it for me and we split the jackpot. I just don't like using the internet companies to play the lotto. I suppose if I won an overseas lotto, I would have to either move to that country or let the USA tax me.

You got it half right, our tickets are tax free, only the winner pays taxes rather than every player as they do in Australia.  Rather pay a $1.00 then a $1.10. per ticket.

Used to be tms now ozlotteries, tattersails used to sell online too but stopped.  Some of the games are a really good deal like that 6/38 game and two bonus balls are a help, but no 3# prize is a bummer if you're good at winning them and not so good at 4# prizes.  Either way it's worth a look over especially if your game goes computerized.  Gail Howard has their draw histories for download.

New Zealand lotto does not have a 3 number prize either. The closest is 3 + B for $10. But then the odds are good.
