Hi,
After reading various posts, the word filters pops up every now and then. I think that alot of of us are using this technique in alot of different ways to reduce the amount of combinations we wish to choose from. I know that I use several and that talking about any one of them will not give away my system, reguardless of how good or bad it is. So, if you have one filter you like why not post it on this thread. It won't give away your system, but might be useful to someone else. And think about, what are the odds that they might steal your jackpot. Looking at the prediction performance, I don't think any of us are that good to worry about it.*L*
Any way to get things started:
I like to use what I call, a column filter:
As an example, take a look at the the last 5 games I tracked:

The numbers in the in the spreadsheet are the occurrence values of the lottery numbers picked over the past 5 draws. As you can see, the numbers have been sorted in ascending values. If you look at the first line, there are 5 different values (0,1,3,4,5). So that line would have a column value of 5. The second line (2,3,3,4,4) has 3 unique values (2,3,4) for a column value of 3. And so on. Well, if you summarize the column values, you might get something like this:
|
COL |
|
CNT |
0 |
|
1 |
0 |
2 |
17 |
3 |
104 |
4 |
117 |
5 |
33 |
As you can see, lottery picks with all the same values has not happened at all.
Lottery values with just 2 different values has happened 17 times.
So, in this case, when sorting thru the combinations, I'll filter out all values that aren't either 3 or 4 columns. This technique works with just about anything your tracking.
It's not the most astonding thing, but, it has proved to be a pretty good little tool.
Anybody else?
