Every time I buy a lottery ticket of any kind and win $10.00 or more, I always keep the person who sold it to me in mind. If it's $10.00 or $25.00 or $50.00 I'll usually buy the clerk a soda and a candy bar.
I don't buy lottery tickets very often and I find that when I get an itch to play, I'm usually not disappointed. A few weeks ago I bought a "monopoly" ticket and won $500.00. I gave the clerk $50.00 since I asked her to chose the winning ticket before I bought it.
It's sort of become a superstition for me that if I win and want to keep on winning, I have to give a little back. The clerk where I bought the $500.00 ticket always tells me when I buy lotto tickets to keep her in mind...and of course....I will.
Even when I see some predictions on this site and I think the numbers look good and try them, (although I haven't hit anything yet, but came very close a few times.) I'd keep the predictor in mind when I collect the winnings.
I especially like Bobp's FL predictions, he's really close nearly every time! If I played all of his pick four predictions and rearranged a few, I'd have hit it a few times.
Anyway, Is anyone else here superstitious when it comes to playing the lottery? What are your superstitions?
