I use the sign numbers as they are on the astrology chart or circle. Each Sign has its own number. Aries is 1, Taurus is 2, Gemini is 3, Cancer is 4,Leo is 5, Virgo is 6 , Libra is 7, Scorpio is 8 , Sagittarius is 9, Capricorn is 10, or 1+0=1, Aquarius is 11, or 1+1=2, and Pisces is 12, or 1+2=3.Each sign is ruled by a planet. Sun = Leo = 5, Moon = Cancer = 4, Mercury = Gemini =3 and Virgo = 6, Venus = Taurus = 2 and Libra =7, Mars = Aries=1 and Scorpio = 8,Jupiter = Sagittarius = 9,Uranius = Aquiarius=11=2, Saturn=Capricorn =10=1, Neptune = Pisces = 12 = 3.
Now each Weekday is rule by a planet,and its the same every week.
Sunday = Sun = Leo = 5
Monday = Moon = Cancer = 4
Tuesday = Mars = Aries = 1 and Scorpio 8
Wednesday = Mercury = Gemini 3 and Virgo 6
Thursday = Jupiter = Sagittarius = 9
Friday = Venus = Taurus = 2 and Libra 7
Saturday = Saturn = Capricorn = 10 = 1
I now that Vedic Astrology has a totaly different set of numbers for the signs and Planets. I believe that Blackapple uses the Vedic form of Astrology numbers. I have just started taking an astrology course so I can better understand it myself. I want to learn to chart and do the math involved with the charting process. As far as I can tell both types of astrology numbers do work, and I will be the first to admit that Blackapple has a better understanding of the subject then I DO.
