Just click over to the petition, and then click the link to show who signed.  It gives an exact running count.

When I get solicited at the grocery store to sign a petition for something or other, I ask what the thing is about. If I happen to believe in the cause and the apparent pros outweigh the cons, I most likely sign. If there are more cons, I politely decline and walk away.

I do not see a point in debating the petitioner and messenger. That is not the the point.

          I simply don't sign.

I didn't sign this one, for exactly that reason.

I've added a link at the top of my web page to the petition page.

It may help if others that have a web page or web site, add a link in their page or site.

                      Maryland,

Thanks.  I agree with you, a lot more visitors here should be adding their names to the list.  You'd think with 4 years of free service, that a signature wouldn't be too difficult.

Todd a lot of your membership probably consists of people who surfed onto the site signed up and checked it out and only come back once in a while. On the average day whenever I log on I see there are about 180 to 300 people logged on. Is it possible for you to mass mail the subscribers and let them know about the petition.

                            There's a problem with that.

The Lottery Post could then be perceived as a SPAMmer.

Getting e-mails members did not ask for could be misinterpreted as SPAM.

Unless the membership agreed to receiving e-mails from the Lottey Post.
