NY Lotto 6/59 returns only 38%-40% of money wagered to players; PA "Unlucky for Life" will be a $2-per-play game with a top prize NOT paid in cash.

since PA's new game has yet to start, i can't really form an opinion on it, so i'd have to pick NY Lotto.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

New York lotto stinks.... you have to match too many numbers to win a little bit of money!

I don't care for $2 per play games, unless I CHOOSE to
        "power up" with powerplay...

This is apparently a popular theme with players in PA... there are numerous $1000 a week for life scratch tickets here... the $2 is ridiculous... and for 3000 a MONTH... that's 36,000 per year, not exactly "dream" money... it's better to spend the $2 on an instant scratch ticket for 1k per WEEK for life, that's 52k per year... still not my idea of a dream jackpot. I can play PB twice for the same $2... or once with the powerplay (makes those low tier prizes nice sometimes, I just turned a $7 win into a $28 win for that extra buck... since I'm only playing one per draw, it's not a runaway extra expense....)

They sucker the less-curious into thinking it's some nice fortune, while the more wary realize that the prize of 3k a month will be taxed...

I won't waste money on even one ticket, I won't even waste the tiny sliver of hard drive space to track via excel... I guess they don't plan on ever even responding to my repeated requests to bring Hot Lotto to PA.... their logic must be that it would somehow hurt Cash5 sales, but it won't because cash5 is a daily game...

Playing more than one ticket per game is betting against yourself.

i don't think hot lotto would diminish cash 5 sales, since cash 5 is drawn 7 days a week.  also, the fact that the cash 5 jackpot rolls over just about every weekend means that the jackpot has the potential to top $1 million again.  also, the MUSL needs to change the draw days for hot lotto.

            1. Agree with Hypersoniq.  Win 4 life is better deal here in Pa. than Lucky for life.  Better odds higher oprizes, and no need to wait for the drawing and look up and check results.

"Lifetime" prizes should be restriced to games where players CANNOT make selections                        (eg picking numbers).

Hot Lotto should move to Tuesdays & Fridays.

exactly. it is hampered in powerball's shadow.

And Unlucky for Life will be drawn on Powerball nights.

that's the fatal mistake PA made. what were they thinking. did they think that people would buy luky for life lotto tickets when they bought powerball tickets. especially not when the jackpot is this high. they should have donw the drawings on mondays and thursdays, or 7 days a week.

7 days a week would be SUPER overkill.

Unlucky for Life should be drawn ZERO days a week.
