One of the most popular scratch-ticket themes is games where the top prize is paid over the winner's life. Several online games also have had this gimmick

i think that just so long as they cost $1 per play, win for life online games are a good idea.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

The two "Lose for Life"-type online games, and the upcoming PA game are $2 per play.

i think $2 per ticket is wrong period. $1 per game is ok, but $2 is too much. especially when PA's top prize won't even mean financial security. if you charge $2 per ticket, at least offer a top prize worth winning.

Some believe $3000 a month is not enough to retire on.

It isn't. At least it won't be soon. The cost of living keeps going up, up, up. And a mere $36,000 a year won't cut it. Now if a game brought me into the upper class for the rest of my life, I'd gladly take it.

dude.  let me tell you something.  investments that you make today will not always go up in a ten year period.  you would have to invest your first year's payments in oil if you wanted it to pay off.

Yeah, if oil stays above $50 a barrel.
