im sorry if this has been talked about before...

but i was wondering what peoples views are on quick picks.

are they just as good as numbers you pick on your own or worse?

There have been my posts on the merits of both, but it really depends on the players.  If you are a player who likes to wheel your numbers or use a system to trap the winning numbers then QP's aren't your thing.  If you really don't care which numbers you play and just want to be in the game then QP's are the easiest way to do that.  Personally I prefer to pick my own numbers when I have the time because I enjoy it.  When I pick my own numbers I can't say "I knew those numbers were going to win, but they weren't on my tickets" or "I knew those numbers were losers the minute the machine printed them out" and etc.  There's no evidents that picking my own numbers will tilt the odds in my favor, but when I lose (and I often do) I know that I gave it my best shot.

As long-time readers here know, I often use Quick Picks.  For me, it's a matter of time: I spend so much time maintaining and building this web site that I don't have much time to play with the numbers.

However, the great feeling that comes with a big win is DOUBLED when you pick your own numbers.  For that reason, pick your own numbers if you can.

mix them up.  qp has given me some great hits, so have my own numbers.

I tend to agree with everybody, but I pick my own simply because I enjoy plotting and tracking my numbers.  It cant hurt to pick your own numbers, but do it only if you have certain numbers that you like or if you have a stratedgy that you play..if it doesn't matter to you how they fall then "quick pick away"..... I tend to think that in some small way working the numbers helps you slightly....for example if you played 15 tickets and your first number on each ticket ran from 1 to 15 you would have gotten the first number right in 203 of all the 243 draws.....then you take it from there.....good luck to you

For some games, I generally choose my own numbers.  That way, when I watch the drawing, or hear the numbers read on the radio, I can usually tell whether or not I had any winning numbers, or more likely would have won if I played.

              I pick my numbers.

Playing more than one ticket per game is betting against yourself.

If the MM jackpot is big enough, I get one of each to cover all the bases and make winning a sure thing.  I also have a 1 year season ticket that I picked myself.

i usually have one set i play religiously, and the rest quick picks.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

i also divide the numbers in the jackpot amount (the digits before the zeroes) by 10, and round to the nearest whole number to determine how many tickets i play.
