Use the link below to send a message to Mega Millions and DEMAND they display the Approximate Lump Sum figure.  It does not appear on THEIR site or the site of ANY of the states that participate.  Almost EVERYONE who has won their lottery takes the LUMP SUM AMOUNT, so WHY do they not DISPLAY this figure?  The ONLY reason it is NOT displayed is due to ARROGANCE on the part of mega millions.

Who cares about them?  They could display the cash value, and their web site would still stink.

Just go to USA Mega, and you'll see the results sooner, and you'll always see the cash value.  Plus a whole lot more than the "officially bad" site.

USA Mega not only has the cash value for Mega Millions, but it also has:

        • Jackpot Analysis, which gives a state-by-state comparison of what a winner would actually collect if they took either the annuity or cash option
        • PowerSearch - the most powerful search engine available for Mega Millions
        • Number of winners at each prize level
        • A "have I won?" feature for up to five tickets at once
        • States where second prize winners were sold
        • All previous results, since the inception of the first version of The Big Game on September 6, 1996
        • Comprehensive FAQ section
        • Sortable and filterable drawing statistics for each version of the game
        • Quick Picks generator
        • How and where to play
        • Customizable Jackpot Alerts, which sends you an e-mail when the Mega Millions jackpot reaches the size you specify
        • Over four years of archived news, which is fully searchable

I don't think there are any other state lotteries or other sites that provide this depth of information for Mega Millions.

Plus, all this same information is available for Powerball.

Did you make sure to enter the sweepstakes there?  Only 4 days left to enter!  14 winners will win up to 100 Mega Millions or Powerball lottery tickets.

i agree. the website is bad. it takes forever to load. they never have the jackpot on the site until a hours after a rollover or hit is announced. they've baan "hatching" questions for their survey for at least 2 years now. they don't store their press releases for more than a month.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

I thought that I was the only one that thought the web site for Mega Millions was a lil sucky. Its not as in depth as the site for powerball.

i've been able to do it. if you go to one of the member states' websites to view the drawing, you will have better luck.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.
