    i see a winfall coming.

    I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

        it's gonna happen.  think about how not many people will pay $2 a ticket.

          Well they barely squeaked into the rolldown zone - the total pot was $2,017,642.

          The roll-downs weren't bad either - perhaps the sight of these will kick-start this game:

          Winning #'s: 5-6-17-22-26-41

          No 6 of 6

          5 of 6: $134767 (normal non-rolldown payout $4000)

          4 of 6: $1999 (normal $150)

          3 of 6: $66 (normal $5)

                i see another winfall coming. $2 million, even if it is cash, doesn't sound appealing anymore. maybe mass. needs to increase the jackpot cap.

                  Not quite $2 million again, but well on its way.

                    Perhaps a winfall for Christmas Eve eve (Thurs. 12/23)?

                      I think $2 million is appealing, but the $2 ticket price is not.  I think people look at their choices and think 2 tickets to go for $10-100 million in MegaMillions sounds better than 1 ticket to go for less than $2 million. And also, like me, they think that buying a $2 ticket is a vote of approval for $2 tickets, and if this game is a success, the lottery won't think twice about making every game $2. I am not going to vote for a $2 ticket with my wallet.

                          If the projections hold it will be close for 12/23 - their projection for Monday (12/20) is 1.725 million.

                          Presuming no winner on Monday, I'll probably play 2 tickets* next Thursday anyway (then 2 more 12/27 if necessary).

                          * 2-3-9-11-12-21 (days/months of my 2 nieces'/1 nephew's birthdates - and, no, 9/11 is NOT one of the birthdays) and 30-33-36-39-42-45 (all the #'s over 30 div. by 3).

                            With Christmas approaching, I doubt it will be $2 million 12/23.

                              Good call, CASH - the jackpot for tonight (Mon. 12/20) fell way short of the projection ($1,661,494 - no winner). It looks very unlikely for a WinFall on Thursday now.
