I see that the cash winfall was good for everyone in Mass. Not bad getting paid 2000 on 800 to one odds and like 140k on 39k to one odds. Just a shame you gotta wait so long for the rollover.

And when somebody hits the jackpot, they'll automatically get a lump sum.

Play CASH WinFall and Drive Away with a Corvette!

            Corvette

Beginning November 1, the Mass Lottery will offer its players the chance to win a Chevrolet Corvette and 100 $100 Season Ticket to one of the Lotterys jackpot games. Every fifth ticket purchased statewide for CASH WinFall will generate an entry for the upcoming drawing. The bottom of the CASH WinFall ticket will read Entry form to follow if that player is going to receive an entry form. Players must fill out the entry form and mail the original entry to the address on the form to be eligible for entry into the contest. The contest runs until the close of business on December 31, 2004. The drawing takes place the week of January 17, 2005. The Lottery will notify winners by mail.

The CASH WinFall game is the Lotterys newest jackpot game. The $2 game offers players a chance to win lump-sum jackpot prizes that grow up to $2,000,000 or vie for lower-tier prizes that multiply by up to ten times if the jackpot is not won when it reaches $2,000,000. CASH WinFall is drawn on Monday and Thursday nights at 11:20 p.m. on WCVB-TV Channel 5.

You must be 18 years or older to enter the contest. When a fifth ticket is purchased the Lotterys computer will generate an entry form for the contest. It will read on the bottom of the CASH WinFall ticket Entry form to follow if that player is going to receive a form. Only bets placed for the next CASH WinFall drawing will be included in this promotion, bets for future games are not. The original entry form will be the only entry accepted. Photo copied or other duplicate entry forms will not qualify. Players provide the envelope and postage for mailing. The Corvette vehicle prize includes preparation and delivery charges, vehicle registration, title fees and required federal and state taxes. There is no limit on the number of times players can submit entries.

Looks like they are desperate to get some people to play this $2.00 game. What do you think???

Yeah, it brings a smile to my face to see the desperation they are feeling at the MA lottery.  I have never seen a promotion like this for any other game in the 20+ years I've been following the lottery.

Well it's no incentive to me - I can't drive.

(Yes, I am more than old enough {over 40} to play the lottery - I just chose to never learn how to drive.)

I have a question: If you were to win a $100 season ticket, would you get to choose which game? (hopefully nobody will choose Megais bad$)

This is one $2 online game that needs to stay around a while.
