i'd give it a few more months. i could see PA trying to play it off as a promotional game.

I've redone my website.  Go to www.dr-ew.com.  I kept a lot of the old stuff, and I've added some new stuff.  Look for more new stuff in the coming weeks.

Was Hearts & Diamonds a promotional game (even that one was better).

NY has had several promotional games in recent years, most notably $2 Millennium Millions.

i don't think hearts and diamonds was promotional, but i know the original mid-day daily number and big 4 drawings at noon were promotional.

              # of weekly Instant Losers dropped below 25,000 for the week of 12/6-12.

With only two winners since it's first game, I don't see the Lucky for Lotto staying even through first quarter 2005. We'll have to see how it goes. 2 and a half months with only 2 winners. Instant Winners are down to 24,000 per WEEK! That's just a little over 3,000 per day STATEWIDE! That's ridiculous. Lucky for Life = Discontinued by March 15, 2005.

I hate to break it to you, but PA seems like they're waiting for Lucky for Life to grow on people, which may never happen. So I think we're gonna have it for a while. A long while. I mean the game must have huge profit margins because not only is the top payout sucky (36 grand a year is a bad prize, I'm sorry), but no one ever wins it. In fact, only one person ever has won it.

I'm glad you changed your tune on this game.

Will we soon have a week below 20,000 Instant Losers?

I think two more weeks around 22-24,000 then it will dip below 20,000. We'll have to see...

I bet it will drop below 20,000 by the week of January 2.

Down to 22,000... How low can you go? This time next week I see it at 20,000 - 21,000.. Then finally dipping to 18,000 - 20,000 the following week. Considering the amount of people that live in PHILADELPHIA ALONE .. This definetly is NOT a good thing. This game will be played off as a promotional game or just cancelled. I wouldn't be surprised if PA LOTTERY started saying LUCKY FOR LIFE LOTTO - FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY. I don't see Lucky for Life making it to the summer months.

You probably don't remember that New Jersey had a game called    Lucky 7 (modeled after the PA Super 7) that lasted only 5 drawings.
