Just a fun system I developed for picking numbers - designed for up to 49 numbers.
It has worked for me, though not for a jackpot. But who knows what it may do for
one of you fine folk?!
The system assigns two numeric values to each letter of the alphabet, with the
exception of Q, X and Z, which each have only one value. The values are as follows:
1A27 28B2 3C29 30D4 5E31 32F6
7G33 34H8 9I35 36J10 11K37 38L12
13M39 40N14 15O41 42P16 17Q 43R18
19S44 45T20 21U46 47V22 23W48 X24
25Y49 Z26
Just choose a name, short phrase or word(s) having the same number of letters as numbers you need
for a wheeling system - WINSPELL was developed to use wheeling systems. Then use each letter's
first value (to the left) to arrive at your numbers. If a letter is used twice, you also use its second value
(to the right). If a letter is used more than twice, you can first try adding the values; secondly, try
subtracting the lower value from the higher. If neither works, try another way of spelling, where possible,
or just insert a favourite or random number instead.
If you do achieve a new number by either adding or subtracting values, DOUBLE CHECK that you
haven't already used that value! For example, the letter E could have the value, by addition and subtraction,
respectively, of 36 (first value of J) and 26 (value of Z).
And now.............examples!!! 1= C A N A D A E H 2=W I N N E R S
3 1 40 27 30 28(1+27) 5 34 23 9 40 14 5 43 19
Well......G O O D L U C K, A L L !!
7 15 41 30 38 21 3 11 1 37 26(38-12)
You could copy/paste/print the list of letters and their values.
