We made a tweak to the chart in our last post.

It has more zones.

We added zones for a Buy or Sell Potential that might be coming up.

They Typically begin at a crest or a trough for each potential and merge with each Buy or Sell Opportunity.

Keep in mind, the Potential Speedometer is an indicator of possible future market activity.

If the Speedometer value is high, it means the market is possibly heading higher in the near future.

Likewise, if it is low, that means the market is possibly heading lower in the near future.

In addition, the cruising speed should be about 60; sometimes a bit higher or a bit lower.

Larger magnitudes in speed means something bigger in market change is potentially coming.

The graph below shows the Market Potential Speedometer readings for the S&P 500.

Using the Potential Speedometer we can see the Buy and Sell Opportunities.

Each zone is marked on the chart.

The Buy zone usually begins at the Speedometer crest and ends at a trough.

Likewise and opposite, the Sell zone begins at a trough and ends at a crest.

The arrows indicate an approximate point of diminishing returns, meaning the Buy or Sell action is optimal before that point.

The Buy and Sell Opportunities generally optimize before the moment when the speedometer is increasing or decreasing rapidly.

Looks like we have entered a Sell Opportunity.

We've developed the pattern expansion of the least squares regression for the Morphed Ultimate Wave Predictor.

This works on any n set of y samples for any m possible y position in any k degree polynomial regression expression.

We think we may have moved in to a new area of polynomial expression or at the very least, representation.

The Relative Rate of Change has 3 indicators.

Each has a minimum and maximum value of -1 to 1 that show the general direction of the dial above it.

Example, in the DOW column, the Velocity dial shows the Market Potential Speedometer is increasing because it's positive, however, only by a small amount.

In that same example, the Acceleration dial indicates the Velocity is slowing down because it's negative or the velocity is moving to the negative.

Finally with this example, the Accelerator dial is showing the Acceleration is increasing in the negative direction; meaning the Velocity moving more negative faster.

If the dials peg out to either -1 or 1, it could be a sign of something major coming, either market expansion or market crash.

If they are all peg out, Whoa!!! Hang on, We're Going For a RIDE!!
