Good article. For what it matters I retired myself from the entire bunch well over 20 years ago. I became tired of their social engineering message, their projected emotion when delivering an event, their constant efforts to shape the audience reaction. News is supposed to present facts for the viewer to make up their own mind, not spoon feed pre-digested narrative.

Whether these journalists know it or not, in the American mind they are already retired before they have even retired.
