Report: DOJ Considering Federal Charges of Portland Officials over Riot Mishandling

I hope they do bring federal charges there along with other cities to follow. These officials were empowered by their office to put a stop to the violence, riots and looting but failed to act to protect the public. They were offered federal assistance but declined saying they could handle it. They failed after having been given many chances to act.

I still hold out the hope each top official who failed to act to protect the public can be personally sued, whether individually or class action. Only when their personal bank accounts are rendered to the level of the rest of the public will they realize they're equal to and not superior to the constituents they were elected to serve. Just my two cents.

Betsy DeVos Calls Princeton's Bluff: If You Really Are Racist, No More Federal Funding

".......Therefore, the DOE is opening an investigation into Princeton and may end up removing funds from the university — and demanding Princeton pay back taxpayer funds it should not have received. “Based on the facts, the Secretary of Education may consider measures against Princeton for false Program Participation Agreement nondiscrimination assurances, including an action to recover funds.”
