A Santa Fe, New Mexico man named Ignacio Lopez won $800,000 on Powerball.  He purchased 10 sets of numbers for saturday's drawing and on the ninth set hit 5 out of 6.  He had also selected the powerplay option to make the $200,000 into $800,000.  He plans to purchase a home for his family with the winnings.  Source is Yahoo news section.-weshar75

Well the LP has crossed the 500,000 posts in the forums milestone.  I think with alot more members we should hit the 1 million mark before 2011.  That is my guess because we should continue to grow over those years.  We might even have 50,000 members by then.-weshar75

I think that over the next year as NC comes to get all of their Lottery games going.  Neighboring Lottery states such as SC and VA will probably take a hit from the convienence of having retailers around the corner or a short driving distance.  Instead of traveling to get Lottery in the next state.  I am sure that once all the games are in place for NC they will see some record money coming into the states hands for their programs.  NC will also hit the jackpot every year by the amount of tickets they sell to NC Lottery players.-weshar75

Well that is $31.9 million for me and the rest to mother.  I can sign my multiple winners form at the Oregon Lottery to get my Powerball winnings on thursday morning.  I will strike up the band and get me a cold one.  Then all I have to do is breathe until the check is presented to me so I can take it to Bank of America and deposit it.  Then once the check clears and the funds are at my fingertips I will get debt free and treat myself to a new truck.  I seen one in Woodburn, Oregon at Hillyers Ford online for about $50 thousand.  It was a 2006 Harley-Davidson truck with AWD and 22's.  Black with red pin stripes.  Leather interior and power everything.  I like it alot! Mom gave me $7 today so I went to the Corner Store and got a Deli sandwich made and a $1 Powerball with Powerplay for $2 for wednesday the last day of the 10x promotion.  So I am hoping for a big payday for wednesday.-weshar75

Well it is LSU vs UCLA and then George Mason vs Florida.  Not what I thought but it is going to be an interesting last two games and I do not think I will pick a winner.-weshar75

Today I joined a Lottery Pool for two.  My mother and I have a signed document that says if either of us buy a Powerball ticket and the winning prize is a 3+1 prize or higher the prize has to be split 50/50.  I am trying to make an effort to spend less on gambling this year then in the past.  So I figure that with my mother playing maybe I can share in the cost and save some dollars.  I would be happy with half of the Powerball jackpot on wednesday because it would be alot more than nothing in the hand.-wehar75

The Corner store sold a winning Megabucks ticket so I decided to try my luck on Powerball there for $1 powerball with powerplay for $2.  I want a 4+1 or higher tonight.-weshar75

Out of the teams that are left I have made my Final Four List and it is.  LSU to play Memphis and Connecticut to play Florida.  That is the teams I think are going on this weekend.-weshar75

Well Washington University takes on the University of Connecticut tonight.  The battle of the Huskies and I am hoping that UCONN won't eliminate the Dawgs like UCLA did to the ZAGA's last night.  I shall be glued to the T.V. tonight to see how the game goes.-weshar75
