well i got into the airport in minneapolis just before the thunderstorm and the tornado warning. still i made it to the little store that they keep moving around in that airport. i have not been there for a long time but it was still there.

i went in to the little store front. at first there was no one there and i just got the slips to play the game. i sat in the middle of the stores and filled out the slips for powerball and hot lotto. i looked up and i see that there was this little old lady there and she was checking her pick 3 slips.

i give her my slips and she sees that the first one is for 32 dollars and i told her that it was no mistake. she slides the hot lotto ticket in and sees it is for a whopping 7 dollars. she jokingly tells me that she is going to give me back a lucky one dollar bill. oh yeah baby. the lucky one dollar bill for me.

when i was doing this another regular player comes up to do a scratch game and she asked him about some other player. the new person says that other person seems to have given up on the 3 digit game. eh wasn't winning and he didn't want to play anymore. which is my feelings exactly. i never play less than pick six with a possibliity of winning a million. i am use to my losing ways. anyway different strokes for different folks.

well i am back at home and all i have to look forward for the rest of the month is the washington lotto. i will try for their promotional today since i am back home. nothing is coming due until the first of october.

i may not be a winner but i am in powerball and megamillion with the possibility of 280 million dollars.

 and the beat goes on. i have another hit. woohoo. i won 4 dollars. i am now needing only 16.00 more dollars towards the 400 goal for the year. i feel i am going to make it.

i am looking forward to my flight home. i hope they have not changed anything at the minneapolis airport. i really want a hot lotto ticket. plus i have 2 hours to kill there.

well i waited to get my next set of powerball tickets from kansas. it is for the same amount of drawings but i waited until sunday so i could extend it just that much longer into november. i drove the 12 miles from the hotel to leavenworth kansas and got me a multi draw ticket. so i am a happy camper i don't have to go to oregon until then. woohoo.

the cool thing about playing in kansas was that they were doing a promotion for the powerplay. since i always do the powerplay i got the promotion. it was for a second chance drawing for a 10,000 top prize for visa debit card. i know i can use that card if i win. i promptly filled out the paperwork and mailed it from the hotel. so my fingers are crossed.

i was thinking about going to iowa to get me a hot lotto ticket. i have not played hot lotto since i was in west virginia some years ago. so i was pining to go to the great state of iowa to get the ticket. i almost went. i went to the web page for the minnesota lottery and found out that they now offer the hot lotto ticket there too. so if i play my cards right and they have not closed that kiosk in the food area. i will be able to purcahse me a hot lotto ticket there on my way back to washington.

i just checked my oregon powerball ticket and it is a dud. i printed the numbers out for the oregon megabucks and i will see if i am winner back in the room. i hope it is a winner. i can use 20 dollars to get to my goal.

long long journey to missouri. i had a 3.5 hour lay over in detroit. i tried to buy a lotto ticket there but alas no where to buy a ticket in that airport. so i just enjoyed a breakfast there.

i get to kansas city and we go exploring. before settling in for the night we stopped at a store to get the tickets. i was pleasantly surprised to find out that i could play the missouri lotto and the missouri powerball for 15 drawings. so i got my usual long term ticket that will be good until october 29th. i am happy because now i don't have to go to oregon for awhile.

i am debating a run to iowa to get a hot lotto ticket. it has been a few years since being near a state that actually plays that game. still it is a long run to get there. so i will debate going up there. gas is a little steep these days. maybe there is another missourian that wants to make a run with me this weekend to share the costs.  well if you are interested send me an email with a number and i can possibly pick you up. just a thought.

well i have a few days to get my ticket from kansas city kansas. i think i am going to wait until sunday to get the ticket so i don't have too many overlapping powerball tickets.

if i have any money left i think i will get a powerball ticket in minnesota on the way home. oh well i will check back for that one in a million missourian who wants a iowa hot lotto ticket.

last but not least. i won 2 more dollars on quinto in washington. i am now at 380 for the year. i just need a 20 dollar win and i will make the goal of 400 dollars for the year. i just need 10 more 2 dollars hits or 1 for 100 million.

well i am a little disappointed. i tried to post twice yesterday and the computer wouldn't let me do it. i was trying to post a correction. i am actually up to 376 and not 340. i won 2 dollars on megamillion so it went up to 378. well today i hit the washington quinto and it went up to 380. so i am just 20 dollars away from the big 400. i haven't hit that much in a few years. not since i hit quinto for a 1000 dollars some years back.

well i purchased another 10 drawing ticket for washington lotto. i was trying to play the new game they have and the machine was not issuing the slips until the day of the 10th. well i won't be here on the 10th. i had the lady cancel that ticket. i didn't get my quinto ticket so i have to go back out and get my quinto ticket later when i have to run my daughter out for something else.

i may take an evening run and run up to iowa and get me a pb and hot lotto from them too. i don't know what is going to happen. i have time on monday morning to get me one of those tickets.

well i have to run and get ready to get out of here. for many reasons.

well the megamillon was nice to me this week. i checked my ten dollar ticket and got back 2 dollars. the two dollars goes to the vacation fund. creeping up on 350 for the year. i will take a two dollar win on mega because it is much harder to hit than powerball. no scientific statement there and i could be dead wrong. it is just how i feel. so i creep along. i have some other tickets maturing this week. so i may have some more good news.

i went to canada this labor day weekend and boned up on super 7, bc and nationwide 6/49 tickets. i got my usal subscription tickets. my super 7 ticket is good until march of next year. so now i have 2 sets of super 7 tickets. i need to send in the paperwork so that i will get my checks. my bc and nationwide 6/49 ticket is good until december 3rd. i love my canadian friends in the canadian lottery. i wonder if i am a regular and if they know my name. if i hit the big one up there. i would seriously think about moving up there so i don't have to pay us taxes on it. oh yeah. well it is a nice thought but i probably won't do it. i love canada but i don't think i can be a permanent citizen there.

the state of washington is trying to boost it dieing washington lotto and doing a promotion for it. i really shouldn't increase my playing on it but i want to do something special for my lovely wife. she deserves all that i can do for her and more. they are giving away 5 all expense trips to different places. i just want to win one and take my wife on a good trip to the pryamids. she would love these two week trips that they are giving away. i just have to buy 1 ten dollar quick pick and submit the losing ticket to them for their drawing. so i will give them some support.

ok i need to win about 52 dollars to make 400. cheer me on people. less than three months to go.

oh yeah i am headed to missouri to get me some more tickets. especially a 15 drawing ticket from kansas city. will tell you more when i get back. no laptop to work with on while on the road.

well oregon was nice to me again. i went to get my new tickets and checked the old. well the oregon megabucks paid out for me again. i am living up to my 10 percent return. all these little hits keep adding up. i was putting the money for this one in the wallet when i realised i had my washington winning in there too. i didn't take it to the bank. i need to do that as soom as possible

i haven't hit 400 dollars in a long time for a total for a year. i am steady inching towards that total. all i need is a hundred dollar hit or anything over 50 bucks and i will make my mark. you have to understand i keep track of my winnings. i have an account that i put all my winnings into. plus i only play games i have a chance to win a million dollars or more. so that knocks out all the (that i know of) 5 ball and under games. i don't play them at all. so i take my little wins and put them in the bank.

it has been a good year in my book. i had several 2 digit wins. the biggest win so far was from canada with a seventy seven dollar canadian win. after the exchange it worked out to about 59 dollars us at the time.

so there are 3 more monts left to the year and i hope i can win something that is decent to get me over the hump. i wouldn't mind a million or two. still i will take a $100.00 hit.

well i am 2 days late in this post. i got a check in the mail from the california lottery. i totally forgot about this check coming to me. i wish i could get more checks in the mail. oh well. life goes on and on. just put some more zeroes behind my winnings.

well i cashed my washington lotto ticket and collected my three dollars. woohoo. i got me a new 10 drawing ticket. i am so underwhelmed about the washington lotto. i am looking forward to my next road trip.

oh one more thing. i had a coupon from the idaho lottery and it expired. i thought i might be able to use it but alas it was not meant to be.  

PA doesn't like me. oh well a lot of states don't like me. hahahaha. well i checked my PA powerball ticket and it is a loser.  nothing new about that. i played 2 sets of numbers and only got single number hits  on it. oh well onto the next state. 

washington my home state. well i won again. it has been a long time since i won at home.   still a win is a win is a win. i just wish that washington would make theri web page searchable for the wining number. i could take it to the machine and let it check for but i was sitting down to do this and so i just checked on line. i am a $3 dollar winner. woohoo. i didn't even know that the ticket was running out today. so i will be out to buy another ticket after cashing this one and getting anohter one.

well the washington quinto finally made it up over the million dollar level. strange not to have a ticket after so long but i did stop when it dropped back down to 300, 000. man it took a long time for it get back to the million dollar level. i did spend a little more on it than i usually do. i played the cards that i have played for ever. i also played a random pick for the 10 draws i usually play. so my fingers are crossed.

i took that same policy to the megbucks game in oregon. i played my numbers that i have played for a long time. plus i played another set for the same amount of draws but they were random picks. i figure i am not traveling like i usually do so i may as well put a little extra money on the little lotto games i play here locally. the oregon lotto is up there and i could use that money too. i also purchased my powerball tickets there. i will be getting down there a little more often. i am going down there one more time this month to get my powerball ticket.

anyway i checked my new joisey tickets and they both came up losers. the megamillion ticket the best i could do was 1 ball per drawing. the pick 6 in new joisey i got up to 2 numbers on 3 different drawings. as we all know you get nothing for a pair. so i have two losers.

my pa powerball ticket is running out this saturday coming up. which means i am back to running down to oregon. so i might have to do a little crative strategy to get my ticket. i have one more trip planned that is coming up taking me to a decent powerball state. Kansas. yes that is right. 15 drawings in a row i can play there. that should take me into november some time. by then i might just be back on the road gettting my tickets again. who knows.

oh yeah. i think i finally have someone who will help me with my idaho coupon. i had to send an email to the state to see if they will still honor this coupon. if they do i have a shot at winning some money if my idaho partner is honest if we win something. so my fingers are crossed. i have to wait on the state of idaho before i can plan on anything. well now it is time to deal with the recyclying.

well i checked my washington mega million ticket and it was a loser the other day. i went today and purchased my new 10 drawing mega million ticket. i was checking out the quinto and someone had played with the numbers and it showed 900,000 dollars. i didn't believe it and had the guy behind the counter check his other board. it was still under 500,000 dollars. well i didn't want to add anymore money to their coffers than i should.

i ask you should i spend another dollar on the megamillion since i am not spending that dollar on the quinto. i would have 2 chances at winning something every drawing instead of one every drawing in washington. i do plan to play quinto again when it reaches 900,000 but not until then.

so what do you say?

well i checked my two losing wa state tickets. i bought my wa lotto again but i didn't buy the quinto. it is just too little to be concerned about. it no longer jumps 100,000 a drawing. just more drawings for a lesser amount.

doesn't look like i am going down to oregon to get another powerball ticket. my meeting fell through so i get no ticket.

man it is so good to hear isaac hayes singing a new song again. makes it hard for me to think.

 well i checked my wa lotto and my wa quinto and they are both losers. well the new deal of making the pots rise only what was put in the pot. well quinto is barely moving. so i am just not going to play it any more. it has to be at least 900,000 or i am not going to drop a dime on it any more. i haven't hit it for a long time.

i might be going  down to oregon and get me a powerball ticket. no guarantee about that yet. i don't have to go there but i am going down there for business and you know i have to pick up another ticket.

the next thing i am picking up will be the wa megamillion ticket. this one ends sometime this week.  

bonus ball. can we say bonus ball. can we say ny doesn't pay out for the bonus ball alone!!! well that is the only thing i did with the ny lotto in a long time. i can't remember the last time if ever winning on the ny lotto.

i played three drawings and hit the bonus ball on 2 of the 3 drawings. all the numbers that i got i only hit 1 number with all that i had. pooh on me.

i looked at the payout and one person in erie had that bonus ball with 5 numbers and walked away with 167000 dollars. that is more than powerball 2nd place prize. oh well.

nothing coming due until this weekend. i get to check my wa lotto losing tickets.
