assaults's Blog

It's been a long time

I quit my job of 2 years because they were seriously stressing me out. I know: insanity. But let's just let that ride. I am fine and work part time for my husband's company unda da table.

I'll be 24 next week. I still have no kids but I got married to this amazing guy. He's a Cancer and a decade older than me and we have fun together. We have been married for 15 months now and we are very happy.  No more roommates! I take one class at a time at NC State. Very very part time. My hobbies include pottery, lottery, and avoiding pregnancy. I went to to New York to visit my grandma and made $$$$$ in Numbers (Pick3). That was back in March and it really hooked me the f-- up. Thank you New York Lottery. My favorite numbers to play are ones with the number 20 in them. I have been having a love affair with those numbers for years. In Georgia, as a teen impersonating an adult, my fav number was 141 and it came out all of the time. I could always feel it. I took my happy 10th grader ass to Publix to cash those tickets out, sure did. $330 most times, $80 others. It was the remedy for me to get school clothes because my mom decided that all people who are being provided a place to live for free should at least buy their own clothes. Yep. But I also had a job to provide me with my ticket buying. I only played one number then, it's so funny to think about.

I totally picked up the Pick 3 habit from my mother. She would play so I would play. I'm tall and mature so the clerks would just let me play. What gets me now is that I am getting carded for lotto tickets and I am waaay above the legal age to play. My mother's father, my grandfather, would spend the whole rent on numbers and women, according to my mom. Oh, and cigs. I was also bedazzled by my mother's stories of her super lucky roommate coming home with bags of money from the illegal numbers in the early 70's. If you hit a number and get three G's tax free in 1971...that's like 10G's now. I'm also a math person so numbers naturally intrigue me. What I am saying is, I am destined to be a numbers player. No ifs ands buts about it. Confused

methodical vs mystical

Dear Method People Who Belittle People Who Get Their Numbers From Dreams,

The smartest people don't  belittle others, they keep their eyes open for what they can learn from any source. You don't instantly get smarter from putting people down.

i'm tired of cable tv

I'm going back to school in the fall. SOoOoOo happy I finally decided on doing something stable with my life: Algebra 1/2 teacher-- yes, high school math teacher. I will make many enemies. Big Smile

As far as lottery goes I've been investing more money in Powerball/Megamillions...to no avail. I've been sticking with the same two numbers for Pick 3 and playing them 50/50 and Exact...but not every day. At this point I only buy lottery tickets whenever I have to go grocery shopping (Food Lion) and I haven't been missing a thing. Sometimes you have to know when to cool down. The entire season of spring has always been good to me (minus pollen, f u pollen) so we'll see what happens.

Weird things part 1 (mystical)

A random man looked deep into my eyes and said, "keep this". It was a red piece of paper with 202 on it. This was in a grocery store 500 miles away from my house. When I got home some man I haven't spoken  to in years kept emailing me. His bday is Feb 20. So I played 202 and 220 for a few days it came out. Just what I needed. But it was still very strange.

My new love interest bday is 10/10. 10+10=20. 2+0=2...at least that's what someone in the NC Pick 3 Lottery community taught me a year ago lol. It has worked for me several times.

Now I am going to watch Alexyss K Tylor videos. Bye.

Pick 3 Math for Beginners

Pick 3 math lol ok:

TRIPLES: 000-999. There are only 10 of them. The most beautiful thing about that is that there are only 10 of them Big Smile. You have a 10/1000 chance of hitting a triple. Or 1%.

SINGLES: The chances of getting a exact pick 3 hit is 1 out of 1000. How do we know this? There are only ten numbers. 0-9.

You have a 1 in 10 chance of getting the number of your choice. Say you want the number 7. There's a 1/10 chance of you getting the number 7. The next number you want is 1, that too is a 1/10 chance.  The third and final number you want is 8. Yep, 1/10 chance.

All you do is multiple 1/10*1/10*1/10=1/1000. You have 1/1000 chance of getting 718 on any given day.

There are 120 six way combinations in pick 3. Combinated 718 would be:

718, 781, 871, 817, 178, 187. They count as  ONE ANY hit and SIX EXACT hits. This means the chances of hitting the combination is 6/1000 but of getting 718 exactly...still 1/1000.

Let's say that you want 7 to be your first number, 1/10 chance. But The second number must be a number that is NOT 7...it could be any number except 7. This means there is a 1/9 chance of picking, say, 1. Then the last number can be any number BESIDES 7 or 1. You still have eight numbers to choose from. The chances of you picking an 8 is 1/8.

So we take (1/10)*(1/9)*(1/8) and multiply them together and we get....1/720. Which means that 718 is 1 out of 720 straight numbers that can be hit EXACT. There are 720 straight 6-way numbers that could come out. If you played all of them tonight you would have a 720/1000 chance of hitting. 72% chance of hitting is pretty good odds. But you would have spent MORE playing the number than you would be paid out!

If you're an ANY person then you would have to only buy 120 tickets to have that 72% chance. Because there are 120 combos for a 6-way number! 120*6=720.

DOUBLES.

We know that there is a 10/1000 chance of hitting a triple. 720/1000 chance of hitting a single. Added together there is a 730/1000 chance of NOT hitting a double. Scary if you like doubles like I do Eek. That's why you get more money for them, less of a chance they will come out! There are 1000 numbers you could hit in the game of Pick 3. We want all of them to be accounted for and doubles are still unaccounted for! This is taken care of by 1000-730=270. There are 270 double numbers that can be hit EXACT. Exact is the big money, the $250 or $500. While any given number is 1/1000 chance of coming out exact, there is 270/1000 of that number being a double, or 27%.

This is done a little differently, but really the same way. Let's take the number 212. Let's pretend YOU want 212 to come out.

You want the first number to match the LAST number. Okay, cool. Let's say you know it's going to be 2_2 while the middle number could be anything...EXCEPT 2 (we have to avoid having a triple!) The first number is 2. There's a 1/10 chance of it being 2. The second must not be 2...it has to be something else. It now only has nine numbers to pick from. So the second number has 1/9 chance of getting 1, 4, 3, 9, etc whatever non-2 number you want to fill in for the middle spot. But we want a 1. 1 has a 1/9 chance of coming in the second slot. The last number you want is a 2...like the first number. See, it has a 1/10 chance of coming out as a 2 BUT it must NOT be a 1. If it was it would be 211...which is also a double but we want 212. Since the number MUST be a double and MUST not be a 1 it MUST be a 2. IT not being a 1 leaves it 1/9 chance of coming out as 2.

Confusing, you betcha. The only qualifer for last number is that it not be a 1. Which gives it a 1/9 chance of a 2 coming out. But if one of the other eight numbers come out...guess what! It's a single, regular, straight number!

So we have 1/10*1/9*1/9=1/810. We multiply that but three and get 3/810. Which reduces to 1/270. If KNOW in your gut there's a double coming. There is 1/270 chance of you getting it for $500!

212 comes in three forms for anyers.

212

122

221

With there being 270 exact doubles, there are 90 anys for doubles. If you KNOW in your gut a double is coming you technically have a 1/90 chance of getting it if you play 212 any.  It's 270/3=90. Just like it's 1/120 for playing your straight number combo'd. There's a 1/90 chance of playing your double number combo'd.

72% for 6-way numbers + 27% for doubles + 1% for triples=100%.

But in the end it's 1/1000 for any random EXACT number at all whether it's 222, 212, or 718.

Hope this helped some new comers. If anyone has anything to add let me know!!!

ANY=BOX and EXACT=STRAIGHT for all my non-NC peeps Smile.

my life on hair relaxer

I made my own hair relaxer, soap, and oven cleaner the other day. It was awesome.

I unexpectedly hit 420 for a measely $250, not like the other time I hit 420. Reminder: That was a $5,000 hit. Not this time. This time I just hit enough for groceries and overdue student loan notes. Still vaguely want to move to NYC and be what? A pharmacist assistant and do my "arts" on the side i.e. porn. LOL. JUST KIDDING.

102 dUMPED me on my ass. So I don't play that number anymore. He dumped me for a girl born on 522, according to her facebook page. F'n ho. So now I am playing 522 and 225. I WILL have my venegence!!!

I want to hit a number for 20 dollas

It's silly, I know I should stick to Cash 5 if I want a big hit but I want a secret tax free hit. SUUPPP Lowes Food. I want to move to NYC (fat chance) so I am thinking I should play 718 or 212 as those are the residential area codes for NYC. BUT 917 comes out more and that's an area code for the cell phones. Anyway I need some intuition and play it 20 times and then move away 2 months later. YAY! ~We need to keep dreams alive~

But even if it hasn't hit I am still relentlessly playing 102. If I were a Virginian I would have hit twice already. More proof that North Carolina hates me.

A minor life update

Lotterypost is saying I'm 21 when my birthday is technically five days away. Way to put a year on a sistah. Let's see if I can go to the ABC with that.

Well, I am much less of a loser now. I work full-time and 102--102 is now my boyfriend. I am pretty estacic about it all. 102 Or 1002 is amazing and I absolutely LOVE him. I will play his birthday dumbly until it comes out. I believe it will arrive soon. I believe I can fly as well. :D

My full-time employment gives me the power to fund the lottery ever-so-more. Yay!

I distrust North Carolina

tales of lottery depression

I said to myself this evening. I only have enough money for a cereal bar $.79 and a 50 cent any. I picked 202. Before I went to the store I knew this would be exactly $1.31 when the two percent food tax was added to the cereal bar. I carried only $1.31 with me to the store. And the number was exactly 131. Never came out before, but it came out tonight. Unhappy Sadness.

I've started putting the tickets I buy for the week in my room trashcan. Digging for them will be joyous. I'll take the trash out when the tickets expire. ANYWAY. My "any" numbers are: 709, 119, 179, 764, 309, 178, 198, 202. Here's hoping I get paid this week. I really want to go shopping next Friday with everybody else. Getting December rent from the NC State lotto would be nice too.

People you meet

Lately I've met a lot of people associated with the number 222. This one guy just moved to a new apartment and the address is 222 and another guy's birthday is 222. Then there's this one boy who's the most adorable thing around his birthday is 901. 9+1=10, 101 or plain 901. Anyway, I'm stressed out. I need more money so I can leave my present living situation alas the story of my life. Today I was probing around myspace and looked at this one profile to see if he was there. HE is 102, my current pet or 1002 or 210 or 10+2=12, 123. I need to get over it, he doesn't want me. He wants some boy. *Vomits* Or some girl, *Perpetual Vomit*. No seriously, I was in love. I know what love is: insanity uncontrollable insanity. Maybe I need to give up 102 all together. Is it possible to have emotional ties with a number? I think so.

This one jerk on the bus gloated about robbing a young girl. His birthday was 723 and it came out last night. He was such a goon. I know everyone's birthday by heart after they tell me but can't remember their names for all the money in the world. I don't know if it's because pick 3 or not but I can not forget a birthday.  I go thru cycles where I play celebrity birthdays. Obama: 804. GW: 706. LAURYN HILL: 525. Angelina Jolie: 604. After awhile it becomes too much to play. I'm truly thinking of getting a second job to support North Carolina Educational Lottery, wouldn't that be a trip. In 2009 I'm saving all my tickets and filing a 1040--half of my income will be cut. Confused

Weekend: Okay. Ate at Noodles, this f-ing delicious place everyone should go. It's cheap and good. Went to a show in Chapel Hill, TOADIES, and it was a spiritual experience, I've been listening to the Toadies since I was 9 so I was happy to have finally seen them live. They were amazing, that's no overestimation. My friend kept rubbing his nasty feet on me, gross I think my legs have athelete's foot now.

ANY misses

I've had a hit: 525! Straight and a product of thinking of Lauryn Hill obsessively. lol. It was 50/50. It's nice, I love it. I love it a lot.

What I want to talk about are the anys that are not hitting.

This week I have

179

709

046

202

159

115

And with all those numbers, nothing from the any system in a week. NOTHING. I bought them for 13 draws a week  and I gets nothing from them. Bogus and what's up with all these doubles? I like that doubles give you $40 more when you hit them in a combo but four doubles in a row? This means anything is possible. Forget an any, let's talk about the $10 hit I desperately need TODAY. Not tomorrow, TODAY.

i did any for the first week

I played five 6-way numbers and they were: 179, 194, 764, 604, and 714. ANY.

I spent $42 last week and ended up with $120. YAY! Three times in one week. Hello! "Any" works, for now.
