Another LIE from FBI director Wray.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nearly two weeks after Donald Trump’s near assassination, the FBI confirmed Friday that it was indeed a bullet that struck the former president’s ear, moving to clear up conflicting accounts about what caused the former president’s injuries after a gunman opened fire at a Pennsylvania rally.

“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle,” the agency said in a statement.

The statement from the FBI marked the most definitive law enforcement account of Trump’s injuries and followed ambiguous comments earlier in the week from Director Christopher Wray that appeared to cast doubt on whether Trump had actually been hit by a bullet.

The comment drew fury from Trump and his allies and further stoked conspiracy theories that have flourished on both sides of the political aisle amid a dearth of information following the July 13 attack.

The Biden p[residency is ending as dishonestly as it began

‘I made some mistakes,” said Joe Biden. “But now, the exaggerated shadow of those mistakes has begun to obscure the essence of my candidacy and the essence of Joe Biden.”

That was in 1987, when the then Senator had to quit his presidential campaign after being caught plagiarising speeches by Neil Kinnock, Bobby Kennedy and John F Kennedy.

Last night, for the first time since his announcement on Sunday that he is withdrawing from the 2024 presidential election, Biden addressed the nation from behind the Resolute Desk.

“I’ve decided the best way forward is to pass the torch to a new generation,” he said. Appropriately enough, that was another line ripped off from John F Kennedy’s inaugural address.

Biden is now a shadow of his former self, yet his essence remains. He didn’t talk about mistakes this time. Yet his capacity for self-delusion is as strong as ever.

If you or I decided to go wild with our credit cards and didn’t pay off those balances regularly, we would see what we owe expand rapidly as high interest rates make the debt increasingly hard to manage.

There’s a price to pay for unwise financial decisions. Most of us understand the economic consequences of living beyond our means.

Except for President Joe Biden and the federal government, that is.

Start the day smarter. Get all the news you need in your inbox each morning.

The national debt is already at $34 trillion and is quickly hurtling toward $35 trillion (it was roughly $27 trillion  when Biden took office).

You may not care, but you should.

The costs of carrying such a significant debt are putting pressure on other spending priorities as interest alone takes up a higher percentage of the government’s budget. In fact, interest payments are the fastest-growing segment of the budget.

The U.S. just hit a new “milestone”: In the first seven months of the current fiscal year, payments on interest have cost taxpayers more than defense and Medicare spending. Only Social Security eats a higher percentage of the budget – for now. In less than 30 years, interest on the debt will likely become our largest expenditure.

Yup, another one bites the dust!

Stormy Daniels’s testimony on Tuesday was such an absolute disaster that even CNN was forced to admit it.

CNN legal analyst Elie Honig said that, although Daniels’ testimony about a sexual encounter with Trump in a hotel room in 2006 was “plausible,” her responses while under cross-examination by Trump’s legal team called her credibility into question.

Referring to the moment Daniels admitted she hates President Trump, Honig said, “Her responses were disastrous.”

Adding, “That’s a big deal.”

“When the witness hates the person whose liberty is at stake, that’s a big <snip> deal!”

“And she’s putting out tweets, fantasizing about him being in jail. That really undermines the credibility.”

Honig also referenced Daniels’s comment that she has no intention of paying court-ordered legal fees to Trump  after her failed defamation case against him was tossed out.

Daniels has said on social media she “will go to jail” before she has to “pay a penny.”

“The fact that she owes him $500,000 by order of a court, owes Donald Trump a half million dollars, and said, ‘I will never pay him. I will defy a court order,’ the defense is gonna say, ‘She’s willing to defy a court order. She’s not willing to respect an order from a judge. Why is she gonna respect this oath she took?’ So, I thought it went quite poorly on cross-exam.”
