One of my close friends is facing a possibility of going to iraq, promised only serving her country with no intentions of leaving for fighting by her recruiter.....Bush is sending us to Iraq why, if you think its for 9/11, then go fight and shut up!!!!! its for oil, george bush literally profited (yes, made money) of 9/11, and off every second we are at war.....im not a democrat, im not involved. but i do know this

PEOPLE DIE, and if you lose a family member over money, maybe youll get it, noticed all the states around new york were in favor of kerry, has anyone seen fahrenheit 9/11? its FACTS this crap was off the news, and newspapers, and if that doesnt make you dislike bush "I THINK" *opinion* you have mental issues, serious mental issues

theres really no reason to complain anymore considering hes here for 4 more years, but let me tell you, i love helping people, i do so many things with others first in mind you wouldnt believe

but if something happens, then i dont want to hear any crybabies

its all your fault

Justin, let me fill you in on some how the military works. When your friend raised her hand and was sworn in, she swore that she would protect her country to the fullist. There was no one holding a gun up to her head forcing her to join. Depending on the M.O.S. (job) she chose depends on how involved she would be anyways. She could go just for support as in a logistic or surplies unit. She would see much combat. But do you and your friend actually think that Uncle Sam is going to clothe her and feed her and give her FREE medical and dental for doing nothing?? Don't think so. I spent 16 years in the Army. I was 11 BUSH Infantry. Spent 12 months in Iraq in 1991 under Desert Storm. I seen some of the worse living conditions children could bear. I had children run up to me and beg me to take them to the USA with me. It tore my heart out to have to let them down and look around for their parents to find that they had none due to Sadam and his surragates. At the time I had a two year old Son at home. But now he is almost 16 and wants to follow in his Dad's footsteps.
Justin, unless you been there and walked in the shoes of the American Soldier, you will never "get it". My opinion is if you are unhappy then move. Canada will take you.

I do understand where you are coming from
and i do appreciate your opinion
she did swear in, and she is not against going to iraq
im just scared for her, she did say she was promised not fighting, but she said she has no problem with it.
And i cant understand as much as you
and since you have been there yourself
I will trust your word over mine
However we have killed alot of innocent people
and i dont think either of us can deny that

In all honesty i just wish no one had to fight eachother
and every single human could get the most out of there short life span.
