Lottery Blackbody Radiation
Published:
Updated:
We're completing our research of an interesting observation event on lottery selection that has a function geometry very similar to a phenomenon knows as Blackbody Radiation.
CARBOB asked us a question about the time it would take for a complete selection of all numbers in a Pick 3 game.
Meaning, how many draws does it take to have all numbers 0 to 9, in a single position or any position, to be selected at least once?
Not stopping with just Pick 3, we expanded to other lottery types and found the same function geometry.
We will release as a mathematics forum topic when we finish our research.

Thanks for the blurb. Everyone, please don't ask me about Blackbody Radiation, way over my head!!
