I have thought of this, glad we live in Michigan and Minnesota, think about it, if Yellowstone blows, that ash is going to be meters thick as far east as Illinois or Ohio, Lake Superior will most likely be to far North and with trade winds, will be untouched. That lake could quite possibly be the only fresh water source and it empty's into Huron .

We were thinking of someplace else, maybe a little more centrally located in the U.S.

For some strange reason we keep seeing a New Volcano emerging in the midsection.

Possibly Oklahoma, maybe Arkansas, but we wouldn't rule out the Yellowstone event.

With all the Fracking and Quaking going on in Oklahoma, we wouldn't surprised if we caused a small fissure that allowed a new magma flow where none had been before.
